Really nice place！Also the restaurant very nice！

The front desk staff Millie Hewett had refused to reverse the charges when i wanted it to be charged to another card instead and she kept saying that it’s not possible to be done, until we insisted and wanted to escalate this matter as we had never had such difficulty with any other hotels on such request and yet she seems to be making things difficult for us.  This was not the only instance that she had made things difficult for us. The other night we had requested for 2 sets of toothbrush and she told us that the hotel only left with one set and told us to go to the nearby convenient store to get the other set. My partner had asked a couple of times and she kept insisting that’s the case. Then my husband checked with another staff that was on duty and he passed us another set of toothbrush. I had confronted her this morning to just understand what is her issue with us and she said that the hotel should not give out too many toothbrush sets. We are very disappointed that your staff behaved in such a manner and provide such level of service.

The food is always exquisite and the service is a luxury. Servers always friendly and willing to make your experience too quality. Relaxed atmosphere so you can really enjoy the company you’re with. Wonderful location next to the water. We were elated with our visit

We have stayed here a number off times and will continue to do so. The issue we had this time were some of the other guests. We did notice groups of scruffy people in the lounge area in the evenings but that was fine. No impact on us. What did impact us though was that we chose the 4th floor because we asked to be away from noise. As some of our scruffy guests were our neighbours and did not understand the concept of how to close a door without it slamming shut, it was not peaceful. There were also loud conversations in the corridor between the same guests. Moreover we noticed that there were laundry bags all around the reception was not a good image. It made it feel like a hostel. One more minor point, hate those coffee machines! Your staff were great as always.

Room was comfortable and clean. All staff very friendly . We had a good lunch in the bar but dinner did not deliver the high quality food and presentation expected of a restaurant with a signature chef who cares passionately about the food on offer. Tomato and cucumber and pickled water melon rind salad with sea bass was simply halved small tomatoes and chopped cucumber. I could not detect any pickled watermelon rind . The sea bass didn’t have crispy skin and it would have been nice to have been offered a plate for the bones. The caramel mousse for dessert would have had better visual Impact if presented on a plate instead of in a bowl with the other components on top of it. The flat bread with my husband’s starter tasted stale and the pineapple in his dessert tasted of nothing at all. Breakfast was sub average . Red Fruit compote had little taste or texture . There was no granola on offer. The hot items in the buffet looked extremely unappealing so we did not taste them. Lots of small mistakes which, when added together, affected our enjoyment of the meal as a whole

The warm welcome back from the receptionist made the journey instantly worthwhile. The receptionist also ensured U had a quiet room on the top floor as I was attending to a project requiring good concentration. I have long enjoyed and admired the team work in the Ty Hotel at Milford Haven Waterfront. Any member of staff was always happy and willing to assist wherever possible. The room was in excellent condition, though needed warming up on a cold blustery day. Thank you to everybody.

A number of issues which we have sent an email to the Manager , haven't received a reply as yet, the hotel is definitely not value for money, cheap furniture, room was very basic even though we had booked a deluxe room , basic not luxury, not what you would expect from the Celtic collection of hotels from our previous stays , felt more like a cheap end Travel lodge . One or two of the staff were warm & welcoming during our stay but our dining experience definitely wasn't good. The breakfast was ok but again it didn't live upto the price we paid, on a positive note lovely location and the bed was very comfortable, if you book a balcony room ask for the third or fourth floor so you will less likely to hear the noise from the outside seating area, we may have been unlucky to have stayed a night where there was a lot of shouting & arguing from this area , we appreciate this isn't down to the hotel but they weren't asked by staff to be quieter either. We were celebrating our Anniversary but were extremely disappointed with our stay wish we went with our other choice of hotel 😟

The team at ty Milford are just the best. The hotel, location and value for money are superb. The breakfasts are just great and the bar area is welcoming. This is a gem of hotel in west wales that does have many hotels. The team are so welcoming which represents Wales so well.

On arrival we were greeted and seated by a happy member of staff. The staff were attentive to us all evening and nothing was too much for them. Out food (steak) and puddings were delicious and the wait for food on a busy Saturday night was not very long. Throughout the service our waiter was always around if we needed. Here comes the part which ruined our night. On request to pay our bill, where there’s a minimum 10% service charge, they refused to accept our cash. We pointed it out to the waiter that they are unable to refuse British Stirling and he called his manager over. The attitude of the manager, and the way he spoke to us was so rude and belittling. He agreed that they cannot refuse to accept our money but still wouldn’t accept our cash. Apparently it states clearly on the website they don’t accept cash. We did not use the website before booking and when booking on the phone no one mentioned it’s a card only business. When we said we were leaving our cash and bill on the table his attitude did not change and he really didn’t care. Sad how one manager’s attitude can ruin a perfect night.
