Don’t Miss This Hidden Gem
Firstly we’d like to say that the photos do not do the property justice. The place is in a lovely setting surrounded by Cranberry Ponds. Peace and tranquility reigns here, and it’s the ideal bolt-hole when if you’ve been out and about all day, you can unwind with a beverage and watch the sun go down and the wildlife frolic. We were made to feel so welcome, and made to feel like we were part of the family. The Breakfasts were fabulous, and it was brilliant to sit with our hosts and put the world to rights for an hour or two. We were so impressed we added an extra night’s stay to our itinerary. Sad to leave ? You bet !

We traveled to MA for a brief visit with friends and stayed at On Cranberry Pond B&B for two nights. It is a lovely property on a cranberry bog, accommodations have separate entrances, there are thoughtful amenities in the bath, a substantial breakfast is served either indoors or out, and Paul was a delight in every aspect of our stay. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying in the Cranberry room for a weekend recently. Jose, Paul, and Elia were kind and gracious hosts. The room was clean and well maintained. The grounds were bursting with wildlife and I spent lots of time sitting on the deck listening to birds. The breakfasts were delicious. Elia was a pure joy and her cooking was wonderful. I will definitely go back to the bed and breakfast next time I am visiting friends in Middleboro.

I stayed a few nights at On Cranberry Pond B&B last week. What an amazing place! The setting is wonderful, with a beautiful pond and cranberry bog surrounding the property. The house has a big porch to sit, relax and take in the view or you can walk along the many paths throughout the property to appreciate the amazing landscape. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating; ensuring that I was comfortable and well provided for. The second floor room was more like an apartment, with private bath, living room and full kitchen, also overlooking the pond and cranberry bog. What a great view to wake up to! I'll be returning to On Cranberry Pond for my next New England trip; hopefully for a longer stay.

Wow, what a find. First, you drive into this lovely, tranquil setting, overlooking the pond, and further still cranberry bogs. Then meet the most amazing hosts, Paul, Jose and Elia. We stayed in the Master Suite, which was well-appointed, spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. Even in this bucolic setting you have the modern necessities - wireless, big screen TV with cable, and my personal can't-live-without, a Keurig machine. However, the Keurig was totally ignored after sipping cup after cup of the hosts' fantastic brew that accompanied the yummy breakfasts. I was more than content to sit and watch the geese squabble sipping on that coffee in the quiet calm of this idyllic spot. Go for the serenity, go to meet these wonderful hosts, and go for the breakfast. A perfect spot for unwinding, playng tourist, or writing the next great American novel. We very highly recommend!

On Cranberry Pond is a great place to stay and a wonderful experience. I have a stayed both for work and with my wife. The hosts - Paul, Jose and Elia, are amazing and make you feel right at home. The property is beautiful and very relaxing. It’s peeper season and they serenaded me all night long.

This was my second stay in On Cranberry Pond. I really enjoyed this 2-week stay in the Cranberry Room. It’s spacious, well decorated and has the best view of the cranberry bog. It was lovely to experience mornings, working remote, to the sound of nature and the view from the comfy burgundy deck. Paul and Jose made sure I was enjoying my stay and were available if I needed anything. The quiche breakfasts and Bustelo coffee in the mornings was just what I needed to start my day and continue my work. Also, Paul’s coconut cranberry cake made with fresh local cranberries is AMAZING! Paul suggested using my HDMI cable to connect to the large television (Why didn’t I think of that?) for better viewing while streaming “Absolutely Fabulous.” :) Paul also referred me to a local Crossfit for some great 5:30 am classes! It’s the little touches and the amazing location that make On Cranberry Pond my favorite bed and breakfast in New England. If I ever need a longer stay, I know they have a spacious long term private apartment style space. Thanks, Paul and Jose! Please tell Elia I missed her during this visit.

My husband and I stayed at On Cranberry Pond earlier this month for a weekend getaway. We had a FANTASTIC time. Jose and Paul are warm, kind, and generous hosts. The food was incredible, the suite we stayed in had everything we could need or want, and the location is beautiful. It was truly a much needed relaxing getaway, and we can’t recommend them highly enough. We will definitely be coming back!!!

The accommodations are top notch, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The setting is peaceful and very relaxing. The hosts are wonderful - helpful, welcoming and great cooks! We cannot wait to return to this hidden gem!
