We stayed at Blue sparrow for a night and it was great. The rooms were clean and everything like on their pictures . Staff was amazing and very helpful

Ended up having a cold shower as water took an extremely long time to heat up, wasting water. Load ahedding has become part of our daily lives now but to have no power at all even an emergency light in the room is not good. And being a business trip, I had to leave at 05:15, still dark, had to get ready by torch light. In the winter it'll be worse. I also feel its overpriced for what you get, could include a breakfast take away pack if leaving that early or price could include a small breakfast. Could also include on booking sites what preference you have for rooms, upstairs or downstairs. Not everyone can comfortably navigate steep stairs like yours to the upstars rooms.

It's always a pleasure to stay at blue sparrow. It wasn't my first time. So Whenever I need a place to sleep in Middelburg, blue Sparrow it is... I checked in late due to driving from far and I was still warmly welcomed

On arrival the team ask what time we needed our breakfast but on our second day they prepared the food same time as the previous day and unfortunately on the second day we didn't want breakfast early. So checking with your guest for all the days that they are staying with you it will be advisable because reheated breakfast its not enjoyable.

The front desk staff was extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. The guest house was clean and well maintained. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Middleburg area

The rooms are spacious and neat, and the staff and the management are super friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is in a peaceful and quiet area and management made special arrangements to that the irritating load shedding does not really have any effect on the guests.

I travel a lot due to my work and its always feel good when you feel home away from home. They knew my name personally not because I complaint but because they see me as a person away from home and wanted to make my stay as pleasant as can be

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Blue Sparrow Lodge. Great place for a quick stop-over when you are traveling to other destinations. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who assisted with everything we needed.

Friendly and helpful staff going the extra mile. Pleasant surprise when walking in the standard room to see a microwave. Safe and secure location. Thank you for a wonderful four week stay. I would gladly recommend The Blue Sparrow to all.
