My 2 daughters and I stayed for weekend to shop and hit the beach. This was a perfect little getaway away before school started. The double room was clean, hotel staff was friendly from start to finish. The food truck was a great added plus. My youngest enjoyed sharing s’mores with other guests and playing giant jenga and other games. The fact they are pet friendly will give us more opportunities for future use. Definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the cleanest places we have stayed, very nice people working at the front desk ,love the older road side inn,,turned into this beautiful place to stay. Loved it,,would recommend this to anyone,,America owned and American people at front desk,,will go back and stay again ,,close to Michigan city and the town of Buffalo Michigan

Great hotel, excellent service. Suite was the best. Well stocked, great patio with Adirondack chairs. Great for just sitting and watching the large old growth forest behind the resort. A garden spot, highly recommend

It was a last minute booking, so we were lucky to get the last room available, two double beds. Even with the smaller room we (family of four; two teenagers) were very comfortable for the three days we stayed. The room was clean, feels bigger due to the layout and design, and we loved that there was no carpet. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a uniquely curated and enjoyable boutique experience, from fun updated decor and creative food options all the way down to offering locally roasted coffee in the rooms. We had the food truck one morning, and ordered from the local pizza place delivered to our room another night and were very satisfied with both. We were happy with the in room amenities (microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, Roku tv, ironing board, hair dryer, overhead fan, air conditioning and the option of opening the windows for fresh air). The fire pit and yard games and decor created a pleasant relaxing ambience, and the location felt quiet and private due to being nestled against the woods. At the same time, it was convenient to both Michigan City and New Buffalo. Everything we did was within a ten minute drive. Everyone in the family was happy with our stay, and that’s a difficult task to accomplish!

This is the spot for a couples quick getaway! Fresh remodel and spotless! Friendly staff that checked in on us daily. The location was great for the National Park and multiple beaches. Amazing selection of good food all around this location as well. Such a cute place that we will for sure visit again.
