"This is a very special place in a beautiful location. The star of the show is the chateau itself, with all its charm, character and history. But the staff, good food, and the many different spaces for guests to relax, all add to the experience making it something very special indeed. Of course it helped that we stayed here during perfect weather, and could enjoy sitting and eating outdoors, the views, and a relaxing stroll around the village itself. Of course there is a small price to pay for such character, and you cannot expect modern lifts and to be able to drive up to the door.
