Hotel Plaza Venice

Stayed at the hotel with my mother and sister. Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable. Only thing I would complain about is the smell in the lobby and the noise. My sister struggled to sleep due with noises from other rooms and music blasting late at night.

Hotel is just across the road from the Venice Mestre Station. Our room is of decent size on the eighth floor. It has dark brown carpet flooring making the already old hotel, feel even older. Although the room size is decent, it is not functional. We have an "island" in the middle of the room with a TV on top and a fridge underneath.  They get in the way.  There is no space for a coffee table. We need to boil water with the kettle provided in the toilet.  They should have renovated the room with wooden flooring to give a clean and modern lift. Breakfast is very average, with no greens (salad) at all. You get just sliced cucumbers and shredded carrots.  Recommend to buy a day pass for unlimited bus and boat rides in Venice.
