Late and strange dinners one set time lasting 7-9 pm— late for us and for early fishing. Very nice cabin on a small creek and quiet. Our cabin’s Kitchen was very sparsely furnished— no mugs, just small cups with few pots and pans. Fishing guides were not current on the fishing situation and did not call to confirm and discuss fishing plans the evening before as is standard good practice. I fished hard and have a fair amount of experience, but got no steelhead or even a strike. Most employees seemed a little unhappy and not as helpful and knowledgeable as expected. Fortunately, we went to Ashland after Morrisons and had a great time there. Note that it is very hot in the summer at Morrisons— low elevation, so about 100 degrees a fair amount; OK as more of a one night place before a raft trip, but not a place to stay in the summer. Hiking trails knowledge also lacking on website and by staff. Summary: Disappointing

Morrisons Lodge was very nice. Our room was clean and had the usual amenities. We have the L1 lodge room which had a great view of the Rogue River. We didn’t buy the dinner or breakfast as we felt they were fairly pricey, but some of our friends did so and said the food was delicious. Good place to stay if starting a rafting trip on the Rogue River.

Our family of 5 adults ranging in age from 70 to 34 had an amazing raft trip on the Rogue River with our talented guide Soren! First-night camping, the second night at Half Moon ranch, and arrival back to Morrisons for a lovely night to celebrate milestones, a 70th birthday, and a 40th wedding anniversary. The smiles ran for miles! Thank you - especially to Soren and crew - Martin, Abby, Tim, and the Half Moon Ranch folks - we have a treasured experience.

Service was excellent. Staff very friendly. The property was beautiful and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The hidden gem is the chef- the dinners were interesting and very tasty. Upscale restaurant quality. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I have been doing the 3 day lodge rafting trip for the past three years Always have a blast! The guides are always fun and top notch! staying at the lodge before and after rafting trip is frosting on the cake Makes for a great get away!!

We went to Morrisons lodge for my 50 b day. We had a 5 day private river trip on the rouge and decided to splurge the night before our launch. Wow factor. Rooms were amazing, views incredible and dinner OMG delicious. Breakfast the following day was a rib sticker mmmmm and they sent us off with smiles and lots of coffee.

Our room was in the Lodge on the 2nd floor. Very tiny room right next to the kitchen exhaust. At 1:20 a.m. the fire alarm went off. It was attached to the ceiling so we could not turn it off. There was no one else in the lodge. We opened all the windows and turned on the fan in the room and it finally went out. I reported this to the management but we received no discount/compensation. We also ate dinner here; $45 each for a very small piece of sabelfish and grilled cabbage and small salad. Not a very good value.

Outstanding luxury in a Wilderness-like setting. The room was so comfy, with a very nice bathroom--much nicer than anything else in the Rogue River area. But the area that massively exceeded expectations was the food and beverage. heather at the dining area/bar provided fantastic service. The food was magnificent, and the wine list most impressive. I will definitely be returning.

Great experience, expertly crafted by lead guide Adam! The river was perfect for avid but older river lovers, and Morrisons gave us 3 days of fantastic food, amazing sights and sounds, and true personal care from start to finish. Clearly they have done this for longer than anyone, and it showed in the details, timing, organization, and especially the staff! We’ll be back for more…
