Prachtige lokatie, wát een uitzicht op de baai vanuit de kamer en vanuit de ruimte achter de receptie. Charmante kamers, heerlijke ‘clubhouse vibe’. 1-1,5 km rijden naar ‘t dorp beneden met overal volop P-gelegenheid, maar wandelen kan ook natuurlijk. Tennisbaan, zwembad met uitzicht…

Amazing views beautiful garden and pool area lovely room with the best view comfy bed and super friendly staff we appreciated clean towels and cups everyday and our bed made couldn’t ask for better service we will definitely be back to stay again

Very welcoming reception, clean and very comfortable room with spectacular view. Not too far from the town and beaches. Very peaceful setting and lovely pool area with tennis court. It was a pleasure for us to stay at this accommodation and we would have liked to stay longer.

I love everything about Hillcrest! The view is breathtaking, bed is comfortable and the room is spacious. The staff are friendly and very helpful too. Suitable for solo or couples. The check in/out process was seamless and easy. I'm already excited for my next visit :)

I recently stayed in a deluxe room at the Hillcrest Motel, and it was an absolute delight. The ocean views over Merimbula were breathtaking, especially at sunrise—such a perfect way to start the day. The room itself was a beautiful retreat, offering plenty of space to relax and even get some work done when needed. The bedding was divine—so comfortable that it made for the best night’s sleep. The motel also has a gorgeous pool that I wish I’d had time to enjoy! I’d especially like to thank Chris—he went above and beyond to make my stay even more enjoyable. His hospitality and attention to detail truly made a difference. If you’re looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway with all the comforts of a well-appointed space, I highly recommend the Hillcrest Motel. I’ll definitely be back!

What a fantastic hotel. The views were incredible. The beds were super comfortable. The aircon was quiet. The block out curtains meant I had the best nights sleep. The staff could not have been more helpful. The small touches such as the binoculars in the room were really well thought out. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This would probably have been a 5 star review if it weren't for the lack of quality control in room cleanliness. The positives of this accommodation (decor, location, view etc) are well covered in the other reviews, however in my case were sadly tainted by a very disappointing standard of cleanliness. There were old cobwebs on the sofa, hairs scattered across the floor and bundled in the bathroom and even the previous people's rubbish left in plain sight on the counter. I had similar reports of cobwebs and hair from the others in our group who stayed in different rooms. I'll put it down to a lazy or rushed housekeeper over the long weekend but such simple oversights in basic cleanliness really left a disconcerting feeling during our stay and I'll look elsewhere next time I pass through Merimbula.

We chose this motel the night before based on location, price and suggested views. It might not be 5 star fit out in terms of lack of a/c - but the bed was great and the early morning sunrise was amazing. Well recommended if you are after an honest, inexpensive night stop with great views

Expect great hospitality here. The manager, Chris, ensures guests have a great experience at Hillcrest. Chris made a last minute dinner reservation possible. It was one of the highlights of my trip. I especially enjoyed the easy parking and great views.
