Motel 6 Meridian, MS

I stayed at the Meridian Motel 6 on a one night quick nap while traveling to a Funeral. It served it's purpose, which is the mantra of Motel 6; a clean room for a cheap price. I got into Meridian at 3AM, found the young lady behind the window prepared, quick, polite and well spoken. My reservation was via ******* so the prepaid room meant a key in my hand without a wait, nice to have no problems at 3AM! Thanks! The motel is a typical Motel 6, concrete slab construction, not much greenery or scenery. The parking lot is well lit, I parked in front of my room. The room appeared to be recently refurbished, nice bed and carpet. The bathroom is the Accor Hotel unique French design, a "Phone booth" shower stall with modular vanity and commode. Nice and clean! The only bad part is that the shower water temperature indicator was installed backwards! I was getting no hot water so I called the desk, I got a Generation X young kid that had a problem getting her ideas through her mouth so after asking questions for a few minutes I was able to figure out what she was trying to say. I turned the shower lever on cold and Viola! Hot water! Another pain was the towels are about the size of an Airline Napkin, too small. There was no shampoo or rinse. The main thing is that this room was only $50, it gives you a decent room at a low price; if you want anything additional this ain't it. For $50 this place will work, it suited what I wanted, close to Interstate 20, cheap, clean and no hassle.
