Résidence Pierre & Vacances Premium les Crets

Never a 4 star property. We arrived mid-afternoon and the reception was closed. Not just the reception desk but the entire building. Had to wait outside in the cold with our luggage for over an hour until we were eventually given our key. The apartment is supposed to be for 6, but we struggled for space as a family of 4. There is one toilet but two bathrooms, not ideal. You are required to clean the kitchen and strip beds prior to departure. There is no where to get a drink, not even a coffee, even if there was the reception building is closed most of the day. Safe to say we won’t be rushing back.

La résidence est jolie, pratique et propre. Elle est accessible via un funiculaire (5 minutes de descente) pour accéder au centre à pied ou à skis) Un garage est prévu pour les voitures (attention à la hauteur) L'accès aux pistes depuis directement les casiers skis est directe via la piste Aigle (rouge) mais c'est la fin fin donc accessible pour les intermédiaires (pas pour les débutants et jeunes enfants, utilisez le funiculaire il est au centre de la Résidence et à 5 minutes à pieds du centre) en bas du funiculaire il y a intersport et skiset et un petit supermarché, et le restaurant la Brizolee où on y mange très bien. Les cours ESF sont au centres et tous ensemble donc pratique pour déposer les enfants au même endroit. La résidence propose tout ce qu'on a besoin mais pas de piscine ou spa ou sauna..il faut aller au centre. La station est très bien pour les intermédiaires et experts en skis et snow. Peu de pistes vertes, mais les pistes bleues sont facilement accessibles (Piste Ours : pas pour les snow, piste martre, piste faon, piste biche, piste gelinotte, piste jn'bee, piste sitelle) . Le paysage est magnifique. On a passé un excellent séjour.

Comfortable, clean, well located résidence This Pierre et Vacances premier Résidence is well located at a peaceful side of Mottaret, with a very convenient funicular to take you from the village to the résidence. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped, with clean linen, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, and nice little balcony. The early morning breakfast delivery at reception is great (croissants, baguette, pain au chocolate). We made use of the raclette and fondue machines (available from reception), and simply bought the right cheese from the shop downstairs (this is much cheaper than any of the restaurants in the village! The residence is situated on a red slope for ski in and ski out from the door of the ski room. The red slope is quite wide and not particularly difficult for us intermediate skiers (but might be icy in the mornings). This is our second visit at this residence, amd we will surely return again in future. I can not think of any negative aspect that I can mention! Thank you for a great ski week!

There are many ski villages in Les3Valles where you can stay. We love Meribel Mottaret where it is comparatively quiet (not the busiest) and reasonably convenient. Les Crets is run by Pierre & Vacances which is honestly pricy (may be because we booked late) but overall a good stay. The apartment is not located in the village center but very convenient because of the round the clock funicular connection. Luckily, the funicular worked smoothly for our 1-week stay. Everything you have is good: the private carpark (paid), the ski room, the ski out access (only for intermediate skiers and above, the reception, the room, its views and facilities. The only issue is the hot water supply which is normal for most of the time. Just when it comes to the peak hours (like morning time when all skiers are rushed to go out), the hot water is not really hot and requires some wait. Overall, we have an excellent and enjoyable stay in Les Crets!

We stayed at Les Crêts with my parents and my young children right after the school holidays. The appartements were ok albeit could have been cleaner. The residence is solely dependent on a lift to get customers to the pistes, children ski classes, shops and restaurants. The lift broke down half way through our stay and wasn’t repaired for 4 days. The staff did not care one bit and refused to arrange shuttle transfers. We had to walk down and up an icy road with no pavement throughout carrying kids and skis for 20 min each way for 3 full days. No compensation was given. Avoid at all cost.

Nous réservons depuis plus de 10 ans tous les ans une semaine dans cet établissement. Nous demandons avant confirmation de la réservation la possibilité d'avoir le même appartement (vue station et montagnes, balcon ensoleillé dans l'après-midi). Ceci nous avait été confirmé pour cette année; malheureusement une semaine avant nos vacances, on nous indique que finalement l'appartement n'est pas disponible, mais qu'in nous en fournira un avec uen orientation similaire. Résultat : appartement à l'ombre toute la journée, très froid car celui du dessous inoccupé et déperditions thermiques importantes. De plus, une des deux jeunes filles à la réception était clairement incompétente (erreur à répétition, ton hautain et des limitations certaines). Garés au premier sous-sol, nous demandons comment remonter les bagages, l'ascenceur ne le déservant pas. On nous indique devoir prendre à pied la rampe d'accès voitures. Quand nous soulignons que de grands panneaux interdisent (à juste titre) aux piétons de passer à cet endroit, nous nous entendons répondre "ah ben je n'avais jamais vu ces panneaux!"...Enfin, on laisse allègrement déféquer les chiens en sortie de casier à ski, à l'endroit ou tout le monde chausse le matin...Nous étions jusque là satisfaits de cette résidence mais le niveau de service de cette année nous motive à changer les années à venir.
