Premier Inn Melton Mowbray

I stayed in Room 221 and was disappointed to be woken in the night by a strong sewage smell coming from the shower area. It was unpleasant and made it difficult to get back to sleep. Given the hour, I didn’t feel comfortable calling reception, and I didn’t bring it up at breakfast as I wasn’t sure what could be done after the fact. I submitted a complaint online once I got home, expecting the hotel to take it seriously. Instead, I was told it was dismissed because I hadn’t raised it during my stay. I understand it's easier to address issues in real time, but this response felt dismissive and unhelpful. This experience really took the shine off what otherwise was a decent stay. I hope the hotel takes feedback like this more seriously in future. Sadly, I will be staying elsewhere in future.

I sleep better in Premier Inns than my own bed! A/c worked brilliantly. Accessibility room could not have been better for my wife.

We had a great stay. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. I have a food allergy and can be made to feel difficult in some places. Not here, the front of house and kitchen could not have been better. Thank you Jackie and Matt for making my weekend more special. Overall a lovely clean and welcoming premier inn will be back .

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful when I lost my key. Restaurant was clean,with breakfast was cooked fresh on both days. We would differently come back without hesitation. Thanks Jackie and Matt for making our stayed very welcoming

Came in for breakfast with my husband and four children. As always, breakfast was freshly cooked for us, loads of pancakes, croissants etc and brilliant service. So lucky to have you just down the road from us. Special shout out to Jackie who does the best poached eggs. We'll be back soon.

Overall good but no shaver socket in bathroom and a very deep bath which was awkward for me to get into to use the built in shower. The hot dishes at breakfast were served to order which slowed the process especially when the restaurant was full on the second day.
