Hotellit kohteessa Meizhou Meijiang District

Great location as it is near the walking street, convenient store opposite, and some shops around too. We booked 4 rooms on a non-smoking floor, however in 1 of the room- we found cigarette butts in the corner of the toilet upon check in. When we told the receptionist, he doesn’t seem to be apologetic to the situation. We asked for a room cleaning to be done after. The windows of all our rooms were not locked which was a little dangerous as we had a child with us, then we told them to have it locked up for safety purpose. Room wise- it is generally clean, tidy and sufficient. Doesn’t seem to be old room and room is big. Other than the cigarette incident, i think this place is Suitable for families to stay.

This hotel boasts a prime location, offers a diverse range of breakfast options, and its customer service is proactive. The bedrooms are clean and the surrounding environment is pleasant. The facilities and equipment are modern and superior to most foreign-owned hotels. The guest rooms are spacious, and the check-in process is swift. A pleasant surprise gift was provided, and the staff at Ctrip were also very attentive, calling me in advance. They pay close attention to detail-oriented service. The hotel's service is prompt, and everything is well-trained. Clearly, this was a pleasant stay.

Big clean room in the a good loacation, convenience for shoping and look around local market, near Meizhou station and not far from Meazhouwest station.

I booked a room with a lake view, but my window was facing a wall and was far from the lake, which was quite disappointing. I also booked two rooms and checked in very early, yet the rooms were assigned far apart. It would be better if the hotel could consider placing rooms from the same booking closer together, especially when the room types are the same. On a positive note, the room and bathroom were clean, and the amenities were complete and well provided. However, it was quite difficult to find food options around the hotel. It would be helpful if the hotel could recommend nearby dining options to assist guests, especially tourists.

The entrance and the lobby of the hotel looked more like a jade and furniture display store than the usual hotel lobby. The night club and massage parlor in the same building gave the impression of an entertainment outlet. However, the rooms were well- appointed like a modern business hotel with auto-flush toilet and voice-controlled lightning, A/C, and TV. The mattress could be a little firm for some but was perfect for my back. Although the shower's water took almost 2 minutes to get hot, the water pressure was excellent. Except for a frosted glass for the shower and another for the toilet, there was no wall partition. There was no fridge in the room. The included breakfast was simple with some traditional Hakka dishes and snacks. Only hardboiled eggs are available as there was no egg station. Breakfast selections were 95% the same for both mornings. There are numerous eateries, cafes, convenience stores, and supermarkets around the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

My first visit to Meizhou City, home of the Hakka people. Stayed in Days Hotel. Supposedly a 4 star hotel, this place offers great value for your stay. The room is large by comparison. The hotel has a laundry room on the second floor and all you have to do it to pop your laundry into the washer and leave a note with your room number and type of wash. An attendant will finish off the wash and dry cycle, fold your clothes and deliver them to you packed nicely in a laundry bag. Free! My travelling friend complained about the smell of smoke in his room. Hotel was apologetic and arranged a nicer (larger) room for him immediately. Manager on duty gave special attention to us and chatted with us whenever he saw us. Talk about personalised service. Location wise, I find Days to be rather close to all the sightseeing and food places I earmarked. As the city does not have a subway and the bus comes in rather long intervals, the location becomes more important. Fortunately, ride hailing is easy and cheap in Meizhou. I plan to return to Meizhou again in the future. Definitely staying in Days again.

One of our favourite stays was at White Swan Guest House. We had the most amazing experience from the staff. September 2024 We traveled to Meizhou from Shezhen. Being from Australia with limited communication we struggled to get a DiDi not realising we were in the wrong town wanting a long trip. We contacted White Swan hoping they could help us get transport. The lovely ladies Alice and Anna made every attempt to get us a DiDi so late at night and they had a friend who was able to get us from the train station. Once he was at Meizhou train station and couldn’t locate us. Alice suggested we share location on WeChat. it was then that we all realised we were in the wrong town. We had accidentally got off the train at the station before Meizhou, Xingningcun Alice & Anna were so kind and offered to help find us accommodation for the night as it was already midnight. We didn’t really want to because it will interfere with our schedule but there were no more trains.  The ladies understood and  said they could ask her DiDi driver friend but no guarantee as he had finished work for the night. She asked if he would be willing to travel the 1.5 hours to Xingning South Railway station at 1am to come get us. Which would actually have him driving for 3 hours for us. It was a late night but we are so grateful that they tried so hard to communicate with us and make us feel safe and cared for. He was wonderful and because of his kindness we reached out to him many times during our stay. The staff especially Anna and Alice were amazing. Thank you for making our first visit to China a memorable experience. The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. September 2025 Because of the 2024 experience, we have chosen to stay at White Swan Guest House. They continue to go above and beyond, and it was great to reconnect with Alice again.

The hotel had its name changed & its different than the notice emailed to me from Trip.com as per photo attached. So we were confused if we were at the wrong hotel. Trip.com should be updated with any changes and send the right information to clients. Breakfast was very simple & u can do without it. However, the bed was spacious & very nice to sleep in. Although there's laundry, it can only dry your clothes only 30% dry because the washing machine is for home use not commercial. You're expected to bring your wet clothes back to your room to air dry it. We had another day so we could lay our clothes on the sofa & tables to dry. If you're staying only for 1 night, don't do laundry!

Voyage solo, j'ai voulu me faire plaisir et j'ai pris cet hôtel et je ne regrette pas du tout, très propre et technologique ! Je trouve l'emplacement pratique pour visiter la ville, le bus à côté et/ou le didi qui prendra peu de temps ! Le petit-déjeuner est très bon aussi.

Receptionists were very helpful, efficient and friendly, Location is very convenient and surrounding environments were beautiful.Room were clean and Bed were hard and good for my backache. I will no hesitations to recommend my friends to stay in this hotel
