Quaint Inn & Suites

This was the grossest place I have ever seen we went in and I was grossed out but thought I'll look at the room. Well no elevators. Four flights oh steps with dirty outdated carpet reeked like cigarette smoked it is went in room and said nope not happening the bath room had stains the ceiling and carpet had stains went back down to front desk said I want our money back I'm not staying here it's just to gross they only refunded us one night when we had paid for two. I wanted to shower in bleach

Just came to town to stay one night and play golf two days. Not looking for anything extravagant but the front office had nobody present all evening. The place is run down and worn. The front desk area is a wall of 2x4’s and plexiglass that you can’t hear any of the conversation. Credit card machine had issues and card wouldn’t run. To top it all off there was no hot water to take a shower, night of arriving of the stay, after a long day at the golf course sweating, nor in the morning prior to checkout.

This hotel USED to be great. I have stayed here off and on for over 10 years. It is now run down, the suites are in need of a LOT of work.. Then when booking to pay full price for a suite in which items do not even work. I just want to shake my head in sadness.

First of all, this motel is in serious need of renovation and updating, but the building has "good bones," and when the scheduled renovations are finished, it should be lovely. The rooms are nice and large, and when my family stayed in Feb '23, we found them to be very clean. I also have to give a shout-out to the staff. They were very polite, pleasant and accommodating. Corine at the front desk was especially helpful. We look forward to going back again, and hope the motel management keep the rates affordable for families to occupy multiple rooms and enjoy Wisp and the beautiful Deep Creek Lake area.

I am only wri writing this as a public service announcement. This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever seen and I have to imagine it will be closed down by the health department very soon. In the hotel lobby there is severe water damage, mildew and multiple buckets on the floor to deal with flooding from what I can only imagine. is a damaged roof. There’s actually nobody to even talk to in this hotel and staff isn’t there past 230 daily. You have to call an outside number and get a code for a lock box to take it to your room. We didn’t even make it that far due to the fact that they were buckets on the floor the elevator was broken there’s a space heater randomly heating a very cold lobby with no staff From what other people report, the rooms aren’t much better. I wouldn’t know because I immediately got a refund and I would strongly discourage people from ever booking with this hotel. Honestly, I have traveled many places and I have never seen anything this bad in my 53 years on this planet. Avoid at all costs!!

Absolutely garbage operation and they ripped me off by refusing to honor my cancellation. I had to cancel my trip to Deep Creek due to a family emergency and I was checking in on Saturday. There was no way to cancel my reservation online so my only option was to call to cancel. I called the office Wednesday during their business hours and no one answered the phone. I called again Friday at 11:00am, and again no one answered the phone, so I left a voicemail explaining I wanted to cancel and left my contact information. No reply, but I figured I should call again in the afternoon and confirm they received my voicemail. I call at the end of the day, and ask if they received my notice of cancellation, and they say no, they don't even have any record of me calling. And now it's after the cancellation period so they say they're billing me for the next day. I explain that I can see in my call records that I called them and left a voicemail, and it's timestamped prior to the 3pm cancellation window. They just flatly deny they received my call, so they're billing me. See the attached photo that shows the call was over a minute long. For them to just flatly lie that they saw no call from me, just to rip me off? When I was already cancelling my vacation because of a family emergency? Horrible, horrible, horrible!
