Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - McCook

Nice size rooms, pool was fun for the kids, decent breakfast with hot items like eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage. Coffee bar in the lobby and coffee pot in the room

This location has a nice clean well maintained lounge that accommodates guests for breakfast as well as for enjoying cocktails in the evening. In the lounge their are 2 skilled game machines for the guests to enjoy. However there is no cash machine to dispense money if someone were to win, therefore guests retrieve winnings from the front desk. During my last stay Î won a significant amount of money, but this time the manager told me they couldn’t pay me out and I was instructed to give her my winning ticket and a copy of my license. The manager continued to tell me she needed to submit that information into the corporate office and they would be mailing me a check for my winnings. A day later Î had a question regarding the time period of me receiving my winnings. The manager who assisted me was not available so I left a detailed message. I never got a returned phone call so I tried again the next day and was able to speak to a manager. I explained Î was calling to follow up and unexpectedly in return the manager was extremely rude, unhelpful and made it seem like I was a huge inconvenience. Confused but determined receive more information Î called the corporate office and left a detailed message. After a third day and still no return phone call Î attempted to call the McCook location again and got the same manager who was previously rude. This time she told me I was no longer welcome back at this location and if I tried to contact the corporate office again they would hang up on me. I am not sure why I was treated with disrespect when I was simply trying to follow up on my situation. I don’t believe I deserved to be band from the location either. If i was that much trouble I apologize and I will gladly take my business elsewhere. I have yet to receive my winnings in the mail.

Staff was very minimal. When you had a question it was sometimes hard to find someone. Both staff members we did encounter were accomodating and very pleasant. I do need to know what kind of mattress that is, that was the best sleep I had in a long time. You do need new card swipers though.

We were there as a family for a funeral the hotel staff was very welcoming and the accomodations were excellent thank you?

This was my first stay in a Cobblestone Hotel. I had a very clean and comfortable room. The furniture was in great condition. Everything worked. Even the in room coffee was great.

Everything was clean, staff was very kind and helpful, and our stay went well. We paid $25/hour to use the conference room to hang out and visit after a supper out for our class reunion, which worked well.
