Hotel Las Jacarandas

It was a good experience except for one strange situation. We were enjoying a beer on the balcony after a long day of travelling and the manager knocked on the door and told us that we could not have beer in our room or on the balcony. After travelling throughout Mexico and many other parts of the world, I have never heard of such a hotel regulation. It made us very uncomfortable for the rest of the stay. At one point, we noticed a hotel employee searching another guest’s cooler. Very strange! The room was good except there was no closet or hooks to hang clothes.

When we arrived here, it wasn’t the warmest welcome. All guests who were at the check in queue, were not shy in showing their disgusted faces as my 18 month old son was crying. We were not notified of all the hidden costs that come with Half Board. First night of eating at the hotel, my partner became seriously ill with food poisoning. We had only ate in this hotel. Couple of days later, me and my son became very ill with tonsillitis, ear infections and eye infections. We spent half the morning in the local hospital. I’m not sure if the air con filters had even been cleaned out. We were so poorly. To top it off, we had 1 drink each which totalled £14 on the receipt and they took £32 out my bank. They take your card from you at check in, and charge everything to your room (double the price) this was never explained to us, if we wanted a drink with our evening meal we had to give them a slip and they gave us a receipt with no price on it. By that point we demanded to know the cost as they were just taking silly numbers from the account! Do not stay here, we have absolutely hated it.

La peor experiencia de mi vida, te controlan todo. No puedes meter una cerveza, ni nada que contenga alcohol, son déspotas. No querían dejar entrar a la habitación porque le hable mal al de seguridad, preguntando que llevaba dentro d mi hielera. No puedes llevar una cheve a la alberca, que solamente consumas lo que ellos venden. Pero NO VENDEN NADA...la alberca es un caldo...tengo agencia de viajes y en 30 años nunca había vivido tal experiencia, muy desagradable. No lo recomiendo

Los empleados de la recepción muy prepotentes y poco amables los demás muy bien seguridad Limpieza bien la habitación horrible y oscura la cama muy incómoda por este precio encuentran algo mucho mejor Lo bueno es que está frente al malecón 😍😘
