French Quarter Inn

We arrived after dark after the gps sent us in another direction. The room was nice and we got the first floor. We would have liked a water view but there weren’t rooms available. The breakfast was nice. The check in was easy and the person was very nice. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

What a great place to base our genealogy travel trip. Historic Downtown Maysville is wonderful. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved our view of the Ohio River. Breakfast in the morning was great and it was very nice to be able to get beer and wine at the front desk. I hope we can return to Maysville again. We definitely recommend.

Charming old hotel in historical downtown. The walls are so thin you can hear everything, even snoring. When the train goes by the whole place shakes, i thought it was an earthquake! The furniture was old and dated but they have updated the floors.

We got the Riverview room, which was nice. There is a railroad track that goes behind the hotel but the trains are not real loud and very infrequent. beds are comfortable. The bathroom even had a jetted tub. Rooms are clean

Very nice. Older building but well maintained. Comfy beds. Excellent shower. Just there for an overnight. Tile floor a bit cold for December but I had slippers. Would definitely stay again. 👌 very nicely decorated for the holidays too.

The inn is in a wonderful place, between the river and the old downtown. You can walk down to sit by the river or walk through town and browse the unique shops. I had breakfast at Parcs Cafe, the breads and pastries are all homemade - even the English Muffin! There is no restaurant at the Inn currently, but there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. When the train goes by (on the other side of the flood wall) the room shakes a bit, but I was not bothered by any noise. The front desk even called my room to see if it was to my satisfaction! I would definitely stay again.

This trip was a special one: we were going to pick up a brand new puppy and needed a night's stay along our long drive north. The French Quarter Inn was right on route, and we never thought it would be the wonderful place it is. It is charming, beautiful, and the staff is more than kind and helpful. Set along side the Ohio River, this 25-year-old property is off the main street of Maysville by a block, and offers a safe area to take walks and see the quaint town of Maysville. There is a pool and outdoor terrace, and the view of The Ohio River from our room was spectacular. Breakfast was included; however, it consisted of the Kuerig coffee choices and premade muffins and Danish. There are, however, a great deal of breakfast eateries closeby, so no worries! We will be on this route in the future and will be staying at The French Quarter Inn again. P.S. Our bathroom had the tiniest rubber ducky, which was supposed to make us feel comfortable about being at this hotel. I had to poach this ducky and take it home, a souvenir from our puppy trip!

It was a pleasure to stay here. We couldn't get a river view room but ours was good. Very comfortable bed. Even a little duckie to take in the spa tub. Great staff and the Halloween decorations were a hit.

Enjoyable stay in Maysville. Great location downtown within easy walking distance to dining and shops. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Very large jacuzzi tub. Great view from our river front room.
