Hotel Edenlehen

Das Appartement hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen! Auch das sehr freundliche Personal und Essen im Hotel waren super. Die Aufteilung der Wohnung inklusive der Ausstattung haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Rundherum top. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Mayrhofen gefällt uns immer wieder sehr gut.

Tja was soll ich sagen. Die Erwartungen im Urlaub sind immer hoch, aber was dann passiert ist, schlägt dem Fass den Boden aus. Und dies meine ich positiv. Der Reihe nach. Wir sind im Juni 2024 angereist, mit einer Buchung für ein Doppelzimmer im Gepäck. Die superfreundliche Empfangsdame sagte dann: „Wir haben ein Überraschung für Sie.“ Mmmhhh. Einen Obstkorb? Nein, es war ein Upgrade in eine Suite. Völlig panisch schnappte ich nach Luft. Einen Begrüßungsdrink gab es auch noch. Ich war langweilig und wählte Cola. Aber jetzt zu den Fakten: Wie war das Zimmer? Dadurch, dass wir die Suite bekommen haben, kann ich nur sagen: „Ich ziehe ein.“ Wir haben auch die anderen Zimmer gesehen und fanden die auch sehr nice. Im Review kann ich natürlich nur die Suite bewerten. 2 Toiletten, 2 Balkone, Eckbadewanne mit Whirlpoolfunktion, Kühlschrank, Kamin, Schreibtisch und Bürobereich, Wohnzimmer mit „Rumhängsofa“ und vieles mehr. Einfach toll. Wie war das Essen? Mir wird nachgesagt, ich bin ein Lauch. Jetzt nicht mehr. Ein wirklich tolles Menü jeden Abend ( 5 Gänge). Das hat mein kleiner schmaler Körper fast nicht verkraftet. Wenn jemand kochen kann, dann der Koch im Edenlehen. 100 Prozent. (PS: Alles vom eigenen Hof.) Wie war der Spa Bereich? Unfassbar gut. Was soll ich sagen, alles war vorhanden. Sauna, beheizter Pool, Relaxbereich (Indoor/Outdoor), Obst und weitere Getränke. Wie war das Personal? Fantastisch. Wir haben uns immer abgeholt gefühlt. Jederzeit wurde uns geholfen. Ein Tipp: Unbedingt die Hofführung machen. Die war sehr interessant und regt vielleicht auch andere zum Umdenken an. Was kann man sonst so machen? Was wohl, Wandern oder im Winter … ach erklärt sich selbst. Fazit? Wir waren in vielen Hotels auf der Welt unterwegs, aber den Service und die Schönheit vom Edenlehen haben wir lieben gelernt. Wir werden versuchen, im Winter auch nochmal dieses Hotel zu buchen. Aus unserer Sicht kein 4 Sterne Hotel sondern 5 Sterne Hotel. Nadine und Mathias

Einfaches DZ mit gemütlichem Bett, Couch, Sitzmöglichkeit, Safe, großem Kleiderschrank, Kleiderschrank, Minikühlschrank, kleinem TV, kleiner Dusche, Föhn, Großem Balkon mit 2 Stühlen & Tisch. Bademäntel & Pantoffeln sowie Badetasche im Zimmer. In unserem Zimmer gab es keine Handseife oder Minishampoo / Body Lotion (haben wir an den Putzwagen gesehen). Der Föhn hat wenig Leistung, das Bad etwas altbacken. Die Sitzmöbel am Balkon auch etwas veraltet. Pool ist sehr schön & warm. Liegen drinnen & draußen Tee/Säfte nähe Pool. Die Liegen im Innenbereich sind f. Mich persönlich zu eng aneinander. Die Liegen im Außenbereich auch nicht die neuesten Wellnessbereich sehr klein. 1Sauna, 1Dampfbad. Nur sehr wenig Liegen. Bei der Größe des Hotels geht das unter. Internet kostenlos. Mitarbeiter am Empfang sehr freundlich. Gästekarte wird nur auf Wunsch ausgestellt aufgrund Nachhaltigkeit. Weshalb es dann Seifen in der Verpackung im Badezimmer hat verwunderte uns. Abendessen war gut. Es gibt einige Hauptgerichte zur Auswahl. Salatbuffet sehr vielfältig. Es hätte 2 Desserts zur Auswahl gegeben. Wenn man jedoch am Tag der Anreise ankommt kann man sich das nicht aussuchen. Finden wir schade. Wir hätten lieber das andere Dessert gewollt. Frühstück mit tollen Auswahl. Viele Parkplätze vor der Haustüre. Auch die eigene Metzgerei. Da wir zur Nebensaison da waren war es schön ruhig. In der Hauptzeit stellen wir uns das etwas lauter vor. Für 1Nacht empfehlenswert Service sehr freundlich.

Hotel Edenlehen, Mayrhofen, Austria Access: It is super accessible, 5 minutes drive (or taxi) from Mayrhofen Bahnhof (train station), and the skibus (circuit route E) stops right at the main gate (the bus stop is 'Edenlehen'). Room: We booked a standard double room with a nice balcony viewing a flat ground covered with snow in our stay as well as the Penkenba}}n ppgondola. The flat ground seems to be a popular landing spot of paragliding so we had taken several nice photos with the gondola as the backdrop and the paragliders gliding towards us. According to the website, the room was re-fitted recently. We found the deco simple and stylish, the layout was very user friendly with sufficient space and cabinets. The bed was quite soft in my opinion, but surprisingly provided enough support. The ventilation in the bathroom was excellent. Food: I booked the hotel as she promoted self-grown products and high quality deliquencies. I didn't realise how lucky we were, not until we had our first meal (dinner). We could taste and feel the excellence that the chef was seeking in every dish and food offered. While we had dru whichnk so many cups of coffee in this journey, that from the among the best. And for whoever want to eat in the hotel, please ensure some space left for the dessert. One would regret for not trying. (I don't know about wine but all the wine I tried tasted very good) Service: This is the climax as the hotel has provided outstanding hospitality and service. Almost full house in all the days we stayed, the team of restaurant staff were extremely efficient and attentive for the guests. My boyfriend got sick and I asked if they could make vegetable soup when they were less busy (its at the peak time of dinner). I expected they would make it after some time, but amazingly they cook it immediately. We were so thankful for their service and its indeed very enjoyable simply to see them working with superb professionalism. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing! Just returned from fab week here. Fab, modern room with lovely comfy bed and throws. Nice lighting, safe in room, balcony All spotlessly clean. Lovely towelling robes for use in the pool. Pool and sauna were a treat-swimming in warm water when it’s snowing was fab! Also bubble areas to use in the pool. Food was excellent -evening with full salad bar, starter, soup and excellent main course which you could choose from a choice of 3 different options, always a fish and vegetarian option. Often a choice of desserts. Very useful menu in English. Breakfast had lots of self service hot and cold options Staff are amazing and couldn’t do enough. Ski bus stopped at the end of the drive every 15 minutes which took us just outside main lift/town…but we walked into town in about 10 minutes. Extensive boot room with heated boot rack. We were also given a voucher for a ski locker at the top of the mountain which was very much appreciated. We arrived by train from Munich and returned to Innsbruck also by train-both journeys were very easy and very reasonable. Loved it! And would definitely return.

Visited the hotel again for the 4th time and our 3rd Xmas. It was just as special this time time as the first time we stepped into this beautiful family run hotel. Wonderful food for the entire stay, paticularly the gala dinner on Xmas eve. Impeccable service always. Every room was warm & cosy. The indoor/outdoor pool was lovely and warm so swam outside at dusk every day. The whole place is spotlesssly clean ( as indeed is the whole of Austria - I hate to think what they think of Britain)! Little touches that promote the true meaning of Xmas, singers around the fire just before Xmas, the lovely crib scene in the summer house, the beautifully lit chapel in the grounds and the little presents in our room from the family. It is a little out of town which means it is always peaceful but the Penken lift is only about 10/15 min walk and a ski bus stops at the end of the drive. You might also be the only British guests (although there were a couple of other English families this time) but as you might expect, most of the staff speak English and the menus etc are provided in English. We actually enjoy being in the minority - it adds to the sense of it being a special occasion and really makes you feel like a guest rather than a room number.
