Ryan's River Lodge B&B

10 days and n a camper van we were so tired, looking forward to our stay a special treat for my husbands 70th, we were not disappointed, a lovely welcome, the room was spotless overlooking the river, only downside would be the heavy early morning traffic to the sawmill but we are early birds anyway, the sound of the river flowing compensated this. Great place for fishing too. Martha our host is so nice very informative and helpful, the dining area is gorgeous and the breakfast so tasty. If ever you come to cong stay at least one night in this B&B you won't be disappointed, we stayed two nights so we could go for a drink and a rest, the bed is very comfortable, I have trouble with stairs but managed these ok a good handrail to hold on to. We had a bottle of champagne which Martha happily chilled in her fridge for our meal out at Pat Cohans. Great place would definitely recommend it.

Another excellent 5 night stay for my wife and I at Ryan's River Lodge. We stayed in Room 2 a deluxe twin room which was coverted to a comfortable king size bed. The room overlooks the stream outside beside the one way street. Lovely breakfasts with various options available - cooked and cold. Very clean. Great hosts Martha and David. Good restuarants within walking distance. and convenient for day trips to parts of the beautiful County Galway, and Mayo countryside and coast. There are also river crusies from nearby Ashford Castle Hotel (Cong) around Lake Corrib, and Killarney Cruises near Leanne. There are also plenty of good walks around Cong and nearby. A very relaxing stay. Hopefully we will go back sometime in the future to Ryans River Lodge

Martha at Ryan's River Lodge was an incredible host. The breakfasts were divine. We were there long enough to try several breakfast options, all equally tasty. And the bed was very comfy. A great base for Cong adventures! Beautiful walking trails right outside the door. Nice coffee shops. And the post mistress was so friendly.
