"Recently returned from here after a weeks stay half board.. we had emailed the hotel about a pool view room if possible and close to reception as the complex goes a fair way back. We didn’t expect to get room as requested but it was honoured and we got our pool view room. The hotel is well situated 5 min walk to the Main Street and all Corralejo amenities. The room was great with good air con and good WiFi. Housekeeping changed sheets and towels and room expertly cleaned each day.. our room was spotless! The food was excellent probably the best we have ever had at a hotel and we are frequent visitors to Corralejo. We have done all inclusive, b+b half board and self catering now.. we would return to this hotel but probably do just b+b next time as sometimes had to queue for evening meal and shown to table then waiter service for drinks.. we are used to just getting our own.. breakfast was not like this and you could choose where you sat and self service for drinks etc. Pool area was very clean.. the staff are all excellent here and they and the reception staff could not do enough for you and were friendly and approachable so top marks here. We wanted to cancel our transfer back to the airport on leaving and this was done for us with no issues so top marks there! Pool is salt water but didn’t really bother us. Pool not open till 9am there were small queues waiting for the life guard to open the pool area and sun beds were filled quickly but it was 1st week of school holidays so was busy it may not be like that at less busy times.. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here."

"The hotel is spotlessly clean, located a few minutes from the beach. It’s a huge complex but never felt crowded. A few comments mentioned needing to be out with a towel at 6am. We didn’t find this and either put a towel down before breakfast or simply didn’t bother and we never struggled. Food was generally pretty good and the restaurant service was good. When it came to leaving we could pay 22 euro for a late checkout which worked for us. Now for the not so great bits. The Wi-Fi was less that useless. I brought my laptop to do the odd bit of work but it wasn’t reliable enough. The laptop stayed in the safe all week. Good in one way but if you need reliable Wi-Fi this is not the hotel for you. Don’t be fooled by the talk of 8 pools including an adult only and one with Bali beds. You do not have access to these unless you have paid extra to join the favourite club. We booked the hotel as it had an adults area, if we’d have realised this then we wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Finally from a personal point of view I don’t like vaping. I appreciate some people love the smell of wild berries and puffing it out for everyone else in the bar to smell. My opinion is that if you’re sat inside under a no smoking sign then you probably shouldn’t be vaping. Vaping was acceptable inside the bars here. Great if you love vaping, not so good if you don’t. Different country, different rules so it’s an observation rather than a criticism."

"We had a lovely stay at the Rio Palace Tres Islas in Fuerteventura. The hotel was very clean, and all of the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a beautiful setting and ideal for unwinding. Our room was clean and comfortable, although it is starting to look a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The hotel was generally kept very clean, but we felt the areas around the sunbeds by the pools could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The only disappointment was the food temperature. Although there was a good choice of food, the hot dishes were often only lukewarm despite being served from hot plates. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday."

"Such a shame the last 3/4 days of our holiday here were ruined as our youngest daughter, who is 7, getting bitten by bed bugs. We stayed 11 nights/ 12 days and the bites appeared on the 9th day which means she had been bitten since our first night- the bites can take 7-14 days to show. The hotel did the right thing, changed our room, washed our clothes and sprayed our suitcases- however their communication was not wonderful and didn’t let us know when our clothes would be ready or when our suitcases would be returned. Our daughter was embarrassed by the bites as they were all over her back and arms and definitely spoiled the last few days. We took her to local doctor who confirmed it was bed bugs and gave her cream to help with the itching as she was so uncomfortable and upset. Also on return to England, our doctor prescribed her antibiotics due to severity of the bites. Prior to this, we had a great holiday and our two daughters had the best time. They loved padel boarding, the foam party, shuffle board type game and also white party. The team games of water polo and water volleyball were throughly enjoyed. The hotel is a little ‘tired’ but we really enjoyed it until we found the bed bugs and loved the location especially being close to the beach and rock pool."
