Merlin Farm Cottages Short Walk to Mawgan Porth Beach and Central Location in Cornwall

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in the Harlyn Cottage, and we are gutted to be home. We loved staying on Merlin Farm! The cottage was beautifully designed and was so well equipped with everything you may need. Both bedrooms have plenty of space and really comfy beds. The beach was a 15-20 minute walk away which was great, the hill is a little steep on the way back but we just stopped for a breather half way up! Lucy and Darrel are the perfect hosts, really friendly and on hand if you need them. The welcome drinks and biscuits were very gratefully received on arrival 😊 Merlin Farm really is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some family time away. We will definitely be back! Returned from Merlins farm last week and we still have the blues. 4 adults and 1 baby, loads of space and everything you need so you don't have to pack the kitchen sink. In the middle of everywhere so loads to see and do. Attentive hosts that go the extra mile that are there in the background so you don't feel like you’re a guest and more like your at home. The lodges are stunning and have a real family feel, right down the kids toys and board games. Stair gates, baby toys, high chairs and travel cots. Real attention to detail, great communication so say no more. See you again soon.

What a Gem of a place, situated close to Padstow. The accommodation is stunning a neat beautifully designed Cottage super slick and modern with all the amenities you can think of My daughter and I stayed here for three days One night we were out Star gazing as there is so little light pollution, and so peaceful I will definitely be heading back soon Thank you for an amazing stay Olivia

Es war eine schöne Zeit dort. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll mit allem ausgestattet. Die Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Für die Kinder war es eine schöne Zeit, weil sie nach einem kurzem Weg, direkt am Strand und Spielplatz waren. Vom Haus aus kann man viele Unternehmungen starten. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Truly, an amazing place to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. The Eco-Cottages at Merlin Farm (we stayed in Harlyn) are exceptional offering luxury features and fittings in a restrained and subtle way. There are no frivolous and wasteful touches (like Hot Tubs), everything is high-end, curated and considered. Everything throughout the cottage was of the utmost quality and we particularly enjoyed the rainfall shower in the main bathroom. The kitchen is also top quality and boasts plenty of everything - we were left wanting nothing to prepare meals. Rooms are warm, spacious and airy with modern, contemporary decor and finishes perfectly suited to the architectural style . We selected Merlin Farm as it's in-line with our eco-conscious ethos, it's run in the most sustainable way possible and every part of this has been thought of. The free EV charging from the own Solar PV panels was also a massive bonus for us and meant that we didn't need to find chargers while we were out and about. The location is wonderfully quiet offering peace and solitude - but Mawgan Porth beach is only a 15 minute walk away - though the path is quite steep it is a very pleasant walk through the pine trees. If you are seeking a upscale self-catering experience in a peaceful and relaxing setting then Merlin Farm is about the best you'll find - it's certainly the best self-catering accomodation we have experienced. We will be back.

It really was such a pleasure staying at Constantine Cottage. Spacious, stylish, beautifully furnished with high standard kitchen area and bathroom - loved the huge walk- in shower! All immaculate throughout, with much attention to fine detail. Nothing is overlooked. There is such a delightful atmosphere here……and set in such peaceful surroundings - can’t wait to return.
