Le Voyageur Inn

We had a good stay at Le Voyageur! We were in room 101 (different building). The room was clean and comfortable. It had a separate sitting room from the bedroom. TVs in both rooms. Bathroom had been updated. Mini fridge (good size) and microwave also in the room. The entrance into the room was a little tight. The inn is walking distance to the grocery store, river and other immenities. We ate both dinners at the restaurant - authentic Thai food was excellent and the service was good (thanks Frank!). There was a continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning (hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, bread) that was great. On the Friday morning they provided us with a bagged breakfast (breakfast sandwich to eat up, yogurt, fruit, juice). For the cost we were super happy with our experience. *We were sxsing in Mattawa and had a trailer - there was room to load and unload our machines and park the trailer which was great. The room also had space for all of our riding gear.

This historic hotel located in the centre of Mattawa is a treasure. The family who now own it did a wonderful job updating the rooms with comfortable beds and the bathrooms. Although the rooms are small reflecting the era the hotel was built, they are super clean. The same family runs the Thai restaurant on the street level. The food was wonderful, and on a Saturday night in September it was full with guests and locals which says a lot as to it's reputation in the Town. The next time I visit family in Deux Riviere I will definitely re-book.

I went to Le Voyageur Inn restaurant with my husband and youngest son who is almost two. The food was superb, the restaurant was clean and the service was amazing. They were also so good with my son. You can tell they love what they do. We will definitely be returning again.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I try to make sure I land here on my drive through Ontario. Clean, updated rooms, good price, and an excellent Thai restaurant downstairs. Highly recommend!

Clean, welcoming, comfortable bed, and amazing shower (great water pressure). I had a bagged breakfast each morning with a breakfast sandwich, muffin, banana, yogurt and OJ. I enjoyed awesome dinners each night in the restaurant. A lovely place to stay in Mattawa.

We booked one room with two king beds and one with one queen. The double king room was huge with the largest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The hotel is very clean and service very friendly, and the restaurant has the best food in Mattawa. My father-in-law’s room had a river view and if we had more time I would have taken coffee on the second storey patio. The only weak part was the breakfast - a cold takeaway bag you’re given the night before with an unappealing breakfast sandwich, yogurt, frozen black bananas, and coffee you make yourself in the room. Otherwise, a great stay and we’d stay again and recommend!

Great menu selection and the food was delicious. Just a short drive from North Bay and it was definitely worth it! Sudawan provided us with menu suggestions along with first rate service! We will be returning soon!

Food delicious, service wonderful. Room was very clean. Bought our atv on the trailer and no problems with parking. Lots of hot water and great shower after our days out on the trails. We will be sure to come again

To be honest this place is an oasis based in a town you want to forget. Rooms are great. Service v good and restaurant very good Thai food is excellent though Friday the place gets busy as there is no where else to eat in this one horse town. Despite its monopoly it is very good
