Premier Inn Matlock

Food service very slow in the evening (1 hour wait) however the food was super yummy when it arrived. Steak was cooked perfect (1 rare and 1 medium rare) pizza was lovely as was the Korean chicken burger. A few negatives. We stayed in room 211 and it appears that house keeping forgot to check under the single bed as the previous family had left biscuits, breadsticks, and alien crisps under it (around 6 in total). Bed were super comfy, air-conditioning only goes down to 19 which i suppose is normal but the room was a little too hot for us but we like it cold so its more of a preference. Could have done with a few extra pillows but we didn't ask so can't complain really. Staff really friendly. Lift still not working no notification before arrival, however there is staff to help should you need any.

You always know what to expect with Premier Inns and they never disappoint. The Matlock one is lovely, as are all the staff, I recommend it as a great place to stay, with free parking, Wi-Fi and fabulous food.

Although lift was out of order the staff were great helping with luggage to the 2nd floor :) We had breakfast which was lovely, the staff again were very helpful even though they were obviously extremely busy :) Room was as expected clean and to usual Premier inn standards :)

Lovely premier inn hotel just like the others , however the restaurant is just far too small for the capacity of people that are staying in the hotel - we had to wait an hour and half for a meal - we asked how this was as we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time ?? They said new chef ! But an hour and half really ?? Had to wait 30 mins to get seated for breakfast as all the tables were full . Never experienced that at ANY of the premier inns we’ve stayed in before . Lovely hotel just don’t eat here .

One of my by far favourite Premier Inn destinations. Staff are amazing even when hotel is busy they always are so apologetic and always greet you with a warming smile specially Martha and Leah these 2 members excel in the pride they have for their work nothing is to much. Rooms are always so clean and aired house keeping do an amazing job.
