Premier Inn Matlock

Very clean, comfortable and modern hotel with decent food, and exceptional customer service from the chap on front desk who couldn’t have been more helpful when I arrived, and for that reason this will be my go-to hotel when staying in Matlock.

My friends and I had an extremely enjoyable stay in Matlock Premier Inn. The room was comfortable and relatively clean and tge staff were friendly. The breakfasts were good with a wide range of cooked and nkn- cooked options. I would like to give a shout out to a couple of members of staff who made our stay great. Leigh who helped us with taxi's and recommended great places to eat in the evenings. He was always genuinely interested in our days activities. Also Dan who always greeted us with a smile and was very accommodating. Both made us feel extremely welcome.

Had a short break here with friends. The location is ideal. We visited Matlock Bath, Bakewell and Haddon Hall all a short distance away. Parking was easy. Above all the staff were so friendly. Leigh was on reception when we arrived and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful with all our queries. Also in the restaurant nothing was too much trouble for him to deal with. Would stay here again on a future trip to the area.

We stayed as a couple for two nights. Check in was efficient. Room was clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bath. We had the meal deal which was good value. There was a good choice at breakfast, we opted for cooked both days and the food was fine. For dinner on the first night the restaurant was very busy but we were still looked after well and the staff coped well. The second night the restaurant ran out of chicken which was the only blip during an otherwise excellent stay. However there was enough choice on the menu that we could still find something we liked . Throughout the stay the staff were friendly and efficient. This was definitely one of the best Premier Inns we have visited at a good price and is recommended.

We stopped here on a trip to York and we found it very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were great and the staff were super helpful. The facilities were really clean and catering was exceeded for money. Particular thanks to Lee who made our short stay so fantastic.

Only stayed one night but... The room was clean and spacious, the bed fantastic, and very large. The service from the staff was great, very polite and courteous. Great night sleep, and not a sound from other rooms. Good breakfast too. Thank you for a great stay.
