Absolutely fantastic holiday! The hotel is very nice, located right by the sea almost in the middle of the village of Matemwe. Very nice rooms, including a great outdoor shower! Thorough, careful and perfect cleaning twice a day. The hotel staff was very nice and everyone did everything they could to make us feel at home. I would like to highlight the following fantastic people: Sauli, Rakim, Charles, Atosha, Emmanuel & Rajab!!! The hotel has a very good pool and great sunbeds overlooking the ocean and reef. There is security at night, everything is absolutely safe, tidy and clean! The restaurant always perfectly prepared and ready to fulfill all your wishes. Nicely landscaped garden, air conditioning in the room fully functional, mosquito nets and mosquito sprays as a bonus. Breakfast simple but very delicious! Great coffee and fresh fruits! Free towels at the pool. Thank you for the unforgettable moments, for the beautiful farewell dinner and the endless football games of Aron and Rajab! We miss you!!

Nice hotel for Mnemba Island tour, very close to the Island and the hotel staff was perfect. I had the best massage ever listening to the ocean and in front of the beach. The food is fantastic and they do not serve alcoholic beverage, despite the fact that I drink, I liked the attitude from the hotel to keep their believe above the tourists. Old hotel that need a lot of maintenance and worst beach in the Island, a lot of seahedges.

We are 8 people and wanted to have a quick lunch in the hotel‘s restaurant as we are spending our nights somewhere else. First of all we were informed in the beginning that a lot of food was not available this day - which is basically OK when you think about fish, prawns etc. - but this decreased the amount of food for the vegetarians a lot (veggie burger,..) After ordering we waited almost 2h (we were the only guests) for the food and we couldn’t eat all together. For myself the fried noodles with vegetables were OK but 90min+ waiting time is too long

Beautiful resort right on the beach. Amazing staff, well equipped rooms and accurate service. Spotless clean, we felt at home from day one and the staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We strongly recommend Bahari villas, this accomodation is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar. We booked a couple of excursion with mr Ben and everything was perfectly organized.

Nous avons passer 10 merveilleux jours dans cet hôtel qui était juste magnifique. Les chambres sont cocooning, elles sont équipe d'un climatiseur et d'un ventilateur au plafond, elles sont laver et ranger tous les jours avec du linge propre. Tous les soirs le personnel passait dans notre chambre pour préparer le lit et mettre de l'anti moustique ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécier afin de passer la meilleur nuit possible. Concernant le personnel ils sont tous très sympathique en commençant par le manager qui nous a gentillement prêter un adapteur de prise durant tout notre sejour. Les serveurs était aussi très aimable et souriant surtout Rakim qui était au petit soin avec nous. Il y avait beaucoup de petites attention qui ont fait toute la différence. Le restaurant était juste waouuuh le cuisiner nous a préparer des plats délicieux avec des fruits de mer frais, sans vous parler des merveilleux jus frais auquel nous avions le droit tous les matins. La piscine était parfaitement propre avec la vue sur la plage qui était incroyable. On a eu le droit à des petites surprise je vous laisserai les découvrir par vous même en réservant chez eux. Comme on dirait en swahili Asenté sana pour ce séjour à vos côtés.

One of the nicest places we stayed on Zanzibar — spotlessly clean, rooms done to a very high standard (the newer ones could easily pass for five-star) and a fabulous location right on the beach, with a good sized pool and lovely staff. Rooms are very large and have balconies — incredibly good value. Dinner tip: go onto the beach, turn right and you’ll immediately come upon Pua Mbili — tiny little restaurant with some of the best food you’ll ever eat!

Me he enrollado bastante pero te doy la opinión real: El sitio es ideal. Las habitaciones estaban super bien, limpias y espaciosas. Teníamos 3 habitaciones dobles y a nuestra llegada nos cambiaron alguna de las habitaciones a otra mejor debido a que había disponibilidad, sin coste alguno. Mi novio y yo teníamos hasta una ducha exterior en el baño, preciosa. Y desde el restaurante y piscina del hotel se ve la playa de arena blanca quilométrica. El personal súper amable siempre, tanto en recepción como en el restaurante del hotel. La comida del restaurante está bien, a precio turístico claramente, pero en la línea de la zona. Si subes la playa un poco hacía el norte encontrarás uno de los restaurantes mejores valorados de la isla en trip advisor a precio local. Eso sí, sea en el restaurante del hotel o fuera, no tardaran menos de 40min-1h en traerte la comida: puntualidad tanzana. No le pongo 5 estrellas por dos motivos: 1) el cambio. Tardan lo mismo en ir a buscarte el cambio (en dólares) del restaurante que en servirte. Cómo es posible que sabiendo que los huéspedes del hotel comen y/o cenan en el lugar no tengan nunca cambio? Fatal. 2) El tema alcohol. Entendemos que es una isla principalmente islámica, pero el hotel no está pensado para los locales. La primera noche nos ofrecieron cervezas (que parece que tuvieron que ir a buscar a la tienda de lo que tardaron) y un mojito (con alcohol, te lo ofrecen a susurros). Pero la segunda noche que intenté pedir otro mojito (con alcohol), a otro camarero diferente, este me dijo , super serio, que tenía que pensárselo. Cómo que pensarlo? U ofreces con alcohol o no, no según te parezca. Tardó 15 minutos en decidir que sí me quería servir un mojito con alcohol (gracias, supongo), y luego la media hora o más para servirlo. Y de las cervezas olvídate. Bueno, como resumen el hotel estaba bien y para descansar del día genial, al ser súper tranquilo. Siempre podías subir por la playa en busca del Seles para noches temáticos, cócteles y rapidez del servicio. Y cuando bajas a la playa hay un puesto para excursiones bastante económico, nosotros las hicimos casi todas con ellos.

Had a great experience at the hotel, the food was great, the stuff they try to do their best. Small small house keeping issues (such as forgetting to put towels in the rooms) can be worked on, but otherwise quite a good hotel with fair prices. Not forgetting the hotel is right at the beach what better way to spend the holiday than having to look at the beach all day!

A wonderful villa with excellent hospitality. Beautiful restaurant (great chefs) located alongside the beach. Super friendly team who are highly accommodating and professional. A beautiful space to stay, surrounded with nature; exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
