有時候吧沒有太多訊息的酒店真的不要定，千萬別抱着以為自己“淘”到寶藏酒店的心理…基於這個國家真的抱着很寬容的心態來的，但…實際辦理入住跟我定的房型都不一樣（定的貴一檔的房型，結果得到的是基礎房）。失望的是酒店的服務態度…先是承認我定的是另外一個房型，後面又説就剩這一間了，在我堅持要我定的房型否則他們跟代理商去協商退我差價的時候他們居然立馬説我定的就是現在這間…一副就剩這間了你愛住不住差價他們也不退。最後還是在攜程客服了解實情後退到了差價，結果不算差。 有點囉嗦給大家避雷吧。再補充一個：早晚餐巨難吃無比，如果不是後面去了茶莊和雅拉差點以為斯里蘭卡就是這種水平。

Aarunya is an incredible resort and one of the most surreal places I’ve ever stayed. The view from our villa was breathtaking and I loved how peaceful everything was allowing you to enjoy the gentle jungle ambiance. The food and drinks were sensational! As this is a small intimate resort, everything is freshly made to order. It was some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. The service was exceptional and everything was made easy with the use of a tablet in the room which connected you to the team. I can’t recommend this resort enough if you’re looking for a complete escape and time to unwind.

An das Aarunya hatten wir mit die größten Erwartungen auf unserer Reise, allerdings war dieses Hotel die größte Enttäuschung. Wir verbrachten Ende Oktober 4 Nächte in der Sky-Tented Villa. Die Aussicht des Zimmers war unglaublich, das Zimmer entspricht allerdings keinesfalls einem 5-Sterne Hotel. Die Ausstattung ist eher durchschnittlich, wenn nicht sogar unterdurchschnittlich und die Klimaanlage hat zeitweise nicht gekühlt. Das Badezimmer, insbesondere das Klo waren abgenutzt. Eine der größten Enttäuschungen für uns waren allerdings der Service und das Essen. Uns wurde bei Ankunft ein persönlicher Butler zugeteilt, welcher allerdings ab dem zweiten Tag frei hatte und nicht mehr zur Verfügung stand. Der angeblich Ersatz reagierte auf unsere Bestellungen erst nach Stunden. Das Essen an sich war eher schlecht. Die warmen Speisen waren meist versalzen, in Hähnchen Gerichten musste man aufpassen das viel Knorpel und Knochen enthalten war. Das anschließend bestellte Dessert war Tiefkühl und nicht vollständig aufgetaut. Auch beim Frühstück gab es Tiefkühlkost - so kam es vor, dass die Muffins die uns serviert wurden noch gefroren waren in der Mitte. Brot und Croissants wirkten oft alt und trocken. Uns wurde ein Spa Treatment geschenkt auf Grund des langen Aufenthaltes. Ein wirkliches Spa feeling kam hier in diesem Resort allerdings nicht auf. Das Spa war ein „Raum“ mitten im Freien, die Geräuschkulisse war störend. Von Sägen bis Musik von Nachbarn war alles dabei. Das Personal sprach teilweise nur schlecht Englisch sodass die Kommunikation manchmal etwas schwierig war. Jedoch waren alle Mitarbeiter immer sehr bemüht uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen, nur ist dies leider nicht immer. Wir würden dieses Hotel insgesamt nicht weiterempfehlen- zumindest nicht für diesen Preis. Zudem ist Lage nicht vorteilhaft wenn man Kandy sehen möchte.

We are currently staying in the resort, we had been looking forward to our trip to Sri Lanka, but especially this resort, we have the all exclusive package, for a Australian it’s $3000 for two nights, all meals and cocktails, plus a few extra things, I had viewed the promotional videos and YouTube videos and I was so excited, we saved a I couldn’t wait to get here. The welcome was ok , we were very confused what came with our package, and never really found out, having the all exclusive package I thought you would get all the beautiful food in the photos, no the set menu is so subpar I’m actually dreading what’s for dinner and might pay extra so I don’t get the what’s on offer. The staff don’t come and ask if you need anything, I wonder if it’s because we have unlimited beverages , I’m very disappointed, we have stayed in other resorts while on this trip that have existed our expectations this one has left us disappointed !!!!

Our stay at Aarunya Resort in Sri Lanka was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Every detail of the resort is thoughtfully curated, from the beautifully designed rooms to the serene natural surroundings. It truly is the perfect place to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and calming. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool or enjoying the amazing food, every moment feels special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Pretty much an exceptional hotel & experience. Staff accommodating and courteous. Food outstanding, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast. Room well appointed, modern and clean. Only minor criticism was there were no hand towels, just bath towels and flannels; however, this was resolved quickly by our personal butler. The spa is good, and the view from the infinity pool amazing. If you want to stay in the vicinity of Kandy stay here, it’s amazing!
