На удивление приятный отель, рассчитанный только на взрослых постояльцев. Расположен в удалении от клубов, туристического променада и прочей «движухи», до пляжа около 20 минут прогулочным шагом. Номера в бунгало – чистые и уютные, сантехника в отличном состоянии, персонал отзывчивый. Еда в ресторане при отеле отличная: ассортимент блюд в меню, сервировка, органолептические ощущения – все на уровне. Если будет возможность, обязательно вернемся.

We had a really nice weeks stay here in June. It's quite different to what we are used to which is large, all inclusive style resorts, but we wanted to try something different and glad we did. No screaming kids, no battling for sunbeds, everything was just super quiet and chilled. From the moment we arrived all of the staff were very friendly. Shoutout to the blonde haired girl at breakfast and the bald headed feller in the bar (apologies I didn't get their names), they were both brilliant and attentive all week. The reception staff were very helpful and advised us on the best way to get the bus to Palmitos Park. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we always felt comfortable approaching the staff for questions and advice. The bungalow was great, a good size, clean and well equipped. I read some reviews saying they were small but I didn't find that at all, it was a perfect size for two of us. There is an option to order food and drink directly to your room which was a great additional service. We only ate at the restaurant once during the week as we found it a bit pricey. Nearly €15 for a burger and that doesn't include chips! Pizzas for some reason were only available two days per month, so surely these should come off the menu with such limited availability? We ended up making our own sandwiches for lunch. We did enjoy the happy hour drinks and found this great value. I was surprised more of the guests were not taking advantage of this as the bar was generally quiet every evening with only a few guests. The location was probably our main issue for the week. We specifically booked a B&B hotel as we wanted to get out and experience the local restaurants and bars, not realising that there was little to nothing within reasonable walking distance. Meloneras is a 20 minute trek, which we did a couple of times but it was difficult in the heat. A taxi will cost approx €5 which is reasonable but of course adds up over the week if you're doing it every day. We did find a great restaurant approx 10 minute walk away called Rancho Luna, although sadly we only discovered it towards the end of our stay. A small side note, a young dark haired girl overcharged me in the bar on our last evening. I only realised later on and had no receipt so couldn't ask for a refund. I am sure it was an innocent mistake and it was only €6, but put a slight dampner on what had otherwise been fantastic service all week. I don't think we would return but that's no reflection of the resort. We just personally prefer to be a bit closer to the hustle and bustle, however I would definitely recommend this place if you want a chilled, relaxing self catering break.

We have just returned from this hotel and everything was perfect for us. We were greeted by a very friendly lady at the desk who answered any questions we had. It is a very quiet complex being adults only, a truly relaxing week. The accommodation is called a bungalow but it has the living/kitchenette and toilet downstairs with the bathroom/2nd toilet and bedroom upstairs. Aircon in the bedroom only. It was clean and tidy. A nice patio with a table and 2 chairs, with 2 sun loungers. We booked our “bungalow” at the back as we preferred a bit more privacy. The swimming pool is a freshwater pool so we didn’t smell of chlorine every time we used it which was lovely. Every member of staff we spoke to had a smile on their face, they were all so friendly. There is a taxi rank just outside the hotel which cost around €5 to take us in to Maspelomas but it is walkable. Found a wonderful Lebanese restaurant close to the hotel called Beirut. Would definitely book again.

I've stayed in numerous places/resorts across Gran canaria over the 11 visits I've had and can honestly say this one was one of the best I've had. Upon check-in was warmly greeted by the gentleman (longish hair, apologies im bad with names) who was very efficient and friendly, explaining everything, we had a quick tour of the room, then off to the chill out bar for a bite to eat as was approx 2230. Chillout retreat was lovely, such a wide variety of chairs, to cater for all. We sat at the table and were warmly greeted by the waiter (bald man once again apologies for names) who took our order and food was prompt, only had pizza and chips to share as was just hungry after the flight. Location - slightly away from everything, but taxi rank outside, and bus stops. Taxis were not expensive and ranged from €4-€9.50, so suited us. Not much within walking distance but first day, get a taxi to mercadona around €6 stock up as we did and our weekly shop, drinks, butter, bread, bagels, cheeses was around €70 Pro's Comfy memory foam matress, as good a matress as ive had abroad. Free safe Free WiFi Not having to reserve sun loungers as we had two at our door. Plentiful of sun loungers at pool, which are all padded and super comfy. Super friendly staff - every single one smiled and said hello. Chillout area - reasonable food, good prices, delivery to room, and even catered for a request for the rugby to be shown one night for us. Cleanliness - whole resort was kept really clean. Cleaning - loved the idea of asking reception when you wanted it cleaned, opposed to standard daily. Shower - always warm good pressure. 24h shop - didn't stock lots but handy when you need a few things at short notice. Pool - lovely, well maintained and ample for resort. Downstairs toilet, so handy when in and out pool Feedback Wee areas could do with a wee touch up, such as sofa was ripped in our apartment, fridge bottom drawer was hanging off upon arrival (215). Pool music was very quiet, and i understand its a peaceful resort but, could do with being slightly louder and on for a longer period. Toaster was a bit rubbish, and a traditional one would be great, as would a oven of some sort, or even a communal cooking zone. The above is only feedback, loved it and will be back in the future. Keep up the good work and staff are a big assest.

Brilliant, and even more Brilliant!!! Stayed here for 3 weeks this time (our 2nd time here) we both felt we had come home and indeed were made to feel that we had! Fantastic Service from every single member of Staff. A place where the height of cleanliness and quiet relaxation are in abundance. If we wanted hustle and bustle we got a taxi to town for a few euros. Happy Hour at Fortuny very relaxing and was a nice start to the evening. All I can say is ‘GO!’ You won’t be disappointed Thankyou Fortuny and hopefully see you all Sept/Oct Judith Appleton x
