Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa - Adults Only

We are sadly on the final couple of days of our holiday at this fabulous hotel - thought it would be the perfect time to review! OVERALL - it’s VERY chilled. Everyone keeps themselves to themselves and does as they please. Some go to the gym at 10, some swim while others are at breakfast. The facilites are great, a large pool, gym, spa, bar, large restaurant / buffet area. All of the things that are necessary for a relaxing stay! ACCOMMODATION - we had a junior suite as had 3 adults. 3 sunbeds and 3 chairs met us outside the bungalow, which the area is not private but spacious. We thought the suite itself would be slightly larger but overall it’s perfectly adequate. The option to sit outside the bungalow is lovely, and the grass around makes it feel like your own space! The only thing I would say they could improve on is, a better sofa bed. It’s just sleeping on the sofa, and is quite hard! POOL / WELLNESS - the gym is great, pool is spacious and the rooftop area is lovely with a warm hydro pool and loungers. The area around the hotel, and specifically around the pool SPOTLESS. There are also aqua classes and yoga biweekly which are good too! And included in the cost of the stay. FOOD / BEVERAGE - we stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast is out of the world, everything you could want and more. Cava, pastries and fruit. What else do you want? Aside from this, there is the typical European breakfast and cold meats etc. Service during breakfast and dinner is perfect. Dinner we found mostly good, some nights just weren’t to our taste. Also they don’t have themed evenings, it did follow a theme trend. One night steak and chips which was amazing, the other Asian which lots of noodles, also great. Temperature of the food we found needs improving. Most of the ‘buffet’ food, wasn’t overly hot. After staying at a hotel in Cyprus where the food was covered to maintain heat, we feel this could work effectively at Club Maspalomas to ensure hot food. Again, a small thing but something to be noted. Special shoutout to Diego, part of F&B management. He is a credit to the hotel, he loves to please guests and ensure everyone is having a good time! AREA- the hotel is in a great location. Perfect for those who want to hire a car like we did. You could get the free shuttle to the dunes & beach which are great, or walk! Not hotel relevant but Gran Canaria is a fabulous area to explore! I would highly recommend to those wanting a relaxing and unique getaway in the sun! The staff are so friendly that you’ll be well looked after whilst enjoying the fabulous facilities.

Just returned from a week’s stay at our favourite hotel. Great facilities with a large pool at the centre of the complex and a separate infinity pool near the spa and gym. The junior suites are fine with separate bedroom, small living room and bathroom but we much prefer the garden rooms that have more space and are more secluded. What makes this hotel extra special for us is the staff who go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Big thank you to Steve and Antonio on reception who helped us throughout the week. Also to all the waiting and kitchen staff with special thanks to Yaniel and Kevin who looked after us so well at breakfast and dinner. A minor issue for us was the location of our suite which was opposite the smokers’ area next to the bar. When you book and you are a non-smoker, make sure you ask for a room away from the area.

What a fabulous hotel!! We arrived at 10pm and having missed dinner we found a selection of meats and cheese, bread, salad and dessert waiting in our suite which was a welcome surprise (just a suggestion for the hotel maybe leave it in the fridge to keep it cool and fresh?) The suite, restaurant and grounds are immaculately clean and tidy. The food is delicious with an amazing selection especially considering it is a relatively small hotel. Our suite was comfortable with efficient air conditioning with separate controls in the lounge area and the bedroom. We chose this hotel as we prefer a quiet holiday so we really enjoyed sitting outside our suite where there are loungers, a parasol and a table and chairs. The evening entertainment is the best we've ever experienced especially considering the size of the hotel. You can hear it from your suite but it generally finished at 10pm and from then on, providing other guests are quiet, peace reigned. The staff are incredible. They are not just doing a job, they are keen to give great service and to truly make your holiday special. I never consider returning to a hotel as there are so many to explore but I would return to this one.

Our recent stay at Club Maspalomas Suites was exceptional. The reception staff made us most welcome, with a welcoming glass of cava on our arrival. Our junior suite was bright, clean and well appointed. Breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of delicious options, with chefs also cooking some items to order. There were ample sun loungers both at our suite and around the pool. Never a problem when looking to sunbathe! I highly recommend Club Maspalomas for a luxurious and enjoyable holiday experience. We will certainly be returning!

Really nice holiday in a lovely part of Gran Canaria. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff, or friends as I like to consider them as, are so good. The accommodation is very good as you have your own space. Food is varied with a high standard achieved across the board. Local to golf courses and free transport to the beach and shops.No children is an added bonus. Highly recommended

This was our 4th visit in one year and when people ask why do we return to the same hotel? Our answer is simple "if there is hotel that offers better value for money, relaxation, quality of food, accommodation and the very best staff we have ever met" then we haven't found it! You never leave this hotel after your holiday feeling disappointed with anything they offer you, we will continue to holiday at club Maspalomas because its like returning to see our family.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Was and my partner recently stayed in room 228 for 9 days and we had a lovely time here. The hotel has such a chilled and relaxing atmosphere. The pool is a good size and there’s plenty of sun beds available. We also had a little front garden which was great for us to just chill by ourselves. The staff were super friendly and always helpful. We had bed and breakfast and there were plenty of options to choose from so you could have different things each day. We also had massages and we both felt much better after them so I would recommend on getting one. The gym is absolutely massive for a hotel and as a bit of a fitness freak I loved it even if I was on holiday. The hotel entertainment was a great touch and most days we made sure we got back for it and it was different acts every time. The only negatives for us was that the check in did take awhile which is not ideal after travelling the majority of the day. The location isn’t fantastic with not too many restaurants in walking distance but there is a taxi rank right outside of the hotel and they aren’t too expensive. But overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to comeback in the future.

Wir lieben es hier ! Wir haben zum ersten Mal dieses Hotel besucht und mir und meinem Mann hat ea echt sehr gut gefallen. Von der freudnlichen und professionellen Bedienung der Mitarbeiter bis hin zum tollen Pool, dem Gym und dem Spa Bereich, alles top !! Das Essen ist hervorragend, einen großen Lob an den Chef und die Köche , plus der ausgezeichneten und aufmerksamen Bedienung der Kelner. Die Position des Hotels ist abseits vom Touriamus Radau, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, da wir so super relaxen und abschalten konnten. Wenn man aber doch etwas Tourismus Leben vermisst gibts hier direkt vor der Tür einen Taxistand , und auch wenn mal keins vor ort sein sollte , die Rezepzion hilft da sehr schnell. Auch bei Fragen oder Anregungen wurde uns schnell geholfen , absolut spitze ! Wir buchen definitiv noch mal , DANKE !

This was our second visit to the hotel we stayed here in 2022, the hotel is still one I would recommend for someone who has not visited it before however there was some of those ‘small things’ but noticeable that were not the same standard as our previous stay. Good points - generally a chilled vibe to this hotel For a buffet restaurant it is of a high standard Staff are really friendly and attentive. Although a busy hotel sun loungers always available. Small grumbles- pool towels used to be replaced everyday evening/morning fresh rolled towels were left on lounger outside room this only happened once during our stay, tea/coffee tray was only replaced twice in 14 days and no English breakfast tea , ants in our room, not the best located room high footfall past the room no privacy and maids were noisy from 8am-9am often shouting to each other setting up their cleaning trolleys we were woken every morning from them, also at 9am some mornings there is live entertainment which in theory is a nice touch however the volume was too loud and as our room was located near the restaurant it got a little ‘too much’. Lastly a tip to share book a late check out or use of a courtesy room when you check in!! We were denied a late check out which we can cope with but then told we were unable to shower before leaving for a 10pm flight as the courtesy room was fully booked! It would have been much better to have been given the information that a booking was required. We will be staying elsewhere next year which I am surprised to be saying.
