Who wouldn't want to spend a few weeks in Maushop Village? A tiny version of Nantucket with its' own beautiful beach that is meticulously maintained for its' residents. Like all Maushop condos, the ocean (Vineyard Sound) is located just around the corner so no need to pack a lunch; you can walk home within minutes. This is a bright and sunny unit that has been beautifully maintained. Updated kitchen cabinets, appliances and granite counter in 2008 with lovely beadboard and recessed lighting throughout the first floor for added character. Perfect for your family vacation. This unit has a lovely front brick patio to greet you and a private back patio for late afternoon / evening dining. Although you'll never want to leave this sweet retreat, you're a short stroll from Popponesset Marketplace (known for it's yummy lobster rolls), the Popponesset Inn and of course the great restaurants located in Mashpee Commons. Come Visit! Please note, I have just purchased this property, so there are no reviews yet. The doors were not locked when we arrived. It was difficult to lock the back door and front door would not lock from the inside. I called the realtor that had the property listed and she was helpful. The lights in the house did not work. Specifically the light over the stairs to the upstairs. This was very dangerous as someone could fall. I am glad to see the property owner is selling the house. It was very clear he’s no longer interested in owning the house. He did not return any phone calls. Someone came into the property cleaning crew? and helped theirselves to pumpkin bread and coffee. Very strange. It’s a nice house in a good location. It needs to be cared for. Wishing Scott the very best.

Positives:Short walk to private beachShort walk to MarketplaceVery clean- cleaning crew did a great jobCons:Outdated No window coverings on front and back sliders Many lights didn’t workQueen bed was very old and uncomfortableNo wash clothes No check in or communication during our stay from property manager- normally we at least get a “just making sure all is okay” message.

Almost bliss Operative word “almost”. All great with one big and some littles except. Big: the bed in the master bedroom is soft and sags, as was pointed out before. The linens are cheap polyester not worthy of a place like this. Littles: no cutting board or oven mitt or peeler in the kitchen. Many light switches did not work, among them the light in the stairs.More than inconveniences, they made the place feel unloved and commercial.

In love with this place. I really want to thank Scott for the kindness of letting us me my 2 daughter stay in this wonderful home. It beautiful. I really fell in love. It’s very peaceful. The neighbors are extremely nice. The beautiful sons of the trees in the night. To magical. Thank you so much. If you are looking for a neat clean spot peaceful this is it. I definitely recommend this to everyone 100%.

Amazing Beach Escape! This condo was the perfect place to stay while attending a wedding at the Popponesset Inn. A short walk to the beach, a short drive to town, outside space to relax. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet. Our only issue was there was no soap or shampoo in the shower and we were traveling from out of town but that is an easy fix. Would recommend for a beach weekend!

New Seabury Maushop Cottage What a great little unit for me for a few days to go fishing. I really enjoyed its central location, and the unit itself is just beautiful. Great little place for a getaway for a young family or solo. I would highly recommend this cute place.

Great neighborhood Our family of 4 with 2 toddlers loved our stay. Very quick walk to a beautiful private beach. The house was very clean. Came with a beach wagon and chairs. Lovely quiet neighborhood.

Short getaway For our annual anniversary trip, this year we chose to go to Cape Cod and rented this small condo. Foremost, I commend the great job the cleaning crew did. However, although the rental met our (basic) needs, we had a few issues about which I contacted the owner. I was disappointed in the delayed response and the cursory solutions he offered for some of those issues. A little consideration for the guests comfort can go a long way
