Riad Noir d'Ivoire

The staff were excellent and service was brilliant. They were very attentive to our needs and went the extra mile. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was exceptional. There’s a choice of French food or traditional Moroccan, and both were outstanding. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

This property is hidden down a side alley behind an unmarked door but once inside, you are surrounded by beauty and luxury. The decor is elegant and great attention has been paid to all the details. Our room was well fitted out, complete with open fire, but it did overlook the winter courtyard which has the restaurant and bar so was noisy until service was finished around midnight. If you want some peace, try for a room around the summer courtyard which might possibly be quieter in the evenings. The staff were fantastic and incredibly efficient and helpful. The in-house hamman was a real treat and well worth booking. The hotel organised a guide for a tour of the souks and were very helpful in suggesting (and booking) dining options although we also had two meals in the hotel restaurant which was excellent. For a first visit to Marrakesh it was a lovely introduction to the city and we quickly became used to finding our way through the maze of pends and alleys to and from the property although it is very disconcerting on first arriving. Our only comment would be the matter of the evening noise - there was a wonderful pianist on Thursday night who played until late, and the background music throughout the afternoon and evening every day was louder than we would normally have preferred. The overall experience however was wonderful and congratulations to the team for all their hard work.

We went to stay at this hotel 20th to 26th of January. The hotel is incredible and more so, the staff. Attention to detail is an understatement. Everyone was so friendly, focused and attentive at all times and we can’t thank the hotel enough for going above and beyond to see we had the most incredible stay. They assisted in booking most of our day trips and catered for our vegan diet also, which wasn’t on the menu. The rooms are outstanding, by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Some people say the negative is the location.. I’ve read those and it’s true, it’s tricky to find but to be fair, Marrakesh is a labyrinth and nowhere is easy to find on the first two days. Abdul, Semore, Badr and Aziz to name a few were so sweet and so attentive and we left with the best memories!! We LOVED this hotel and look forward to visiting again one day.

Ho scelto questo Riad su Trip advisor visto le tantissime recensioni positive, rispetto a ciò che mi aspettavo però ho trovato il posto scomodo, sporco e lasciato a se stessa. Peccato perché la struttura è molto bella ma andrebbe tenuto in maniera diversa. Unica nota posta la gentilezza dello staff.

Come ho scritto, credo che questa sia stata la più grande delusione della mia storia di viaggiatore. Mi sono sempre affidato alle recensioni di Tripadvisor per trovare gli hotel ideali per le mie vacanze e devo dire che ne sono sempre rimasto soddisfatto. Per il soggiorno a Marrakech ho trovato questo Riad che con circa 1600 recensioni ne ha circa 1500 eccellente e soltanto 6 pessimo, ho pensato che questi 6 fossero i soliti guastafeste sempre scontenti che non apprezzano niente; e invece ho dovuto constatare che erano gli unici ad avere ragione. Ora mi chiedo? ma gli altri 1500 sono stati nello stesso Riad? Premetto che il personale tutto è la sola cosa che salva questo posto, sono tutti molto professionali, gentili e disponibili, ma tutto il resto è inclassificabile. Dovete sapere che il proprietario è un inglese alcolizzato che vive perennemente col bicchiere in mano che passa tutto il giorno (e quasi tutta la notte) al bar a suonare musica a tutto volume infischiandosi degli ospiti. Il secondo giorno di permanenza, su richiesta di mia moglie che non era riuscita a dormire, ho avuto la malaugurata idea di chiedere se fosse possibile cambiare camera, non l’avessi mai fatto, mi si è avventato contro con gli occhi fuori dalle orbite sbraitando un inglese impastato dall’alcol e solo l’intervento del personale ha evitato che mi menasse. Il Riad come struttura sarebbe anche bello, ma è come fosse abbandonato, e’ di un colore marrone-grigio cupo davvero opprimente, su ogni cosa vi è uno strato di polvere, vi è pochissima luce, gli arredi sono tutti scrostati e usurati e il tutto da l’idea di poca pulizia. A riprova di quanto descritto allego alcune foto dove potrete ammirare il “bagno”. il ripiano del lavabo, il tappeto ai piedi del letto, la tenda che dovrebbe dividere la camera dal bagno, il caminetto con il suo muro intorno e ciliegina su là torta, degna di in film dell’orrore, la tenda della doccia……lascio a voi giudicare

Zu empfehlen Schönes hochpreisiges Riad. Liebevoll ausgestattet und exotisch. Bar, Live- Musik, sehr gutes Essen. Der dritte Kaffee zum Frühstück sollte allerdings inclusive sein, ebenso wie ein 2. O-Saft.
