They have a beautiful wood stove and know exactly when to serve tea and they share it a lot! It is easy to keep in touch with those that speak English via WhatsApp on their WiFi and I used Google translate for some of the staff who don’t and they could hear what I was trying to say in Arabic then easily help me with what I needed. I ran the marathon there and was officially checked out but they were more than happy to let me use a different bathroom to shower before my flight. The main contact consistently checked in with me and you actually get a choice when you have breakfast! One morning I had it at 10 am on the terrace and the other I had near the fire in a cozy room at 6:30 am. Both breakfasts were slightly different but equally tasty! I would highly recommend this hole in the wall…it literally is like this little oasis after it feels like a maze to have found it, traveling down tight (somewhat dirty but with character!) between areas of the neighborhood that were affected by the 2023 earthquake until you then happen upon this gem. Thank you for a lovely stay! It was well worth me spending a little more than I had planned on a hotel for the treat me like a queen service.

Absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail at every turn is fabulous. I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough. The staff were amazing- even with the lack of common language, the room beautiful and the breakfast delicious. We wanted to stay longer.

Pros: 1. very nice support staff. All of the ladies are very sweet. 2. Room is very nice and well designed. 3. Peaceful, tranquil. 4. Lots of delicious tea that’s unlimited 5. Nice rooftop 6. Free breakfast on the roof 7. The Hammam was exceptional and definitely worth it. One of the most interesting and rejuvenating and cleansing experience I’ve ever had. You can even do a couples hammam which makes it less uncomfortable and more fun. Cons: 1. The massage. DO NOT GET ONE whatever you do. The masseuses aren’t actually masseuses; they are housekeepers that give “massages”. Additionally, it’s a total rip off. We paid for a 90 minute massage, and we only got 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, they covered our eyes with a towel and then just sat there in the room for 5 - 10 minutes before ending the massage. Furthermore, they barely kneaded any muscles; more than half the time they were just rubbing our skin really hard flat palmed as if they were trying to give us rugburn. Hurt more than anything. 2. When we told the staff they only “massaged” us for 45 minutes they said no it was 90 minutes. My wife and I were timing it and it wasn’t even close to what we paid for. We asked for some money back and they refused. Additionally they sold us on a hammam+massage package for 110€ which she claimed was better than anything on the menu, but it was in fact just more expensive than anything (and in fact less time). And last, when we checked out, they gave us a final price in Euros (but charged us more in MAD then the going conversion rate), but we could only pay in MAD because the ATMs only provide MAD. They claimed that we had said we wanted to pay in Euros as an excuse, and would not honor the conversion rate. 3. The dinner is not good. Not much seasoning or flavor. Granted we only had the vegetarian options; but definitely way overpriced and a total waste of money.

Contratamos el servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto con ellos, y Adida, una de las muchachas que gestionan el Riad, nos recogió a pie del taxi en la plaza de una cercana mezquita, y cuando la seguimos a través de unos enrevesados, destartalados y sucios callejones, el desanimo iba apoderandose de nosotros. Pero cuando nos abrió la puerta del Riad Gallery 49, ya no dejamos de sonreír durante los cinco días que estuvimos alojados allí. El Riad es muy bonito, decorado con gusto, las habitaciones disponen de todo lo necesario y las camas son comodísimas, pero lo más importante es el trato que te dispensan las 3 muchachas árabes que trabajan en él. Se desviven para que tu estancia sea perfecta, y no es ninguna exageración; arreglan la habitación cada vez que sales de ella, llegando incluso a recogerte las cosas que dejas descuidadamente en ella. Te traen té y pastas cada vez que estás en el Riad (pasamos tiempo en él durante las horas de más calor), nos lavaron la ropa sucia sin costo alguno, y por si fuera poco su enorme amabilidad, cocinan de escándalo. Los desayunos son abundantes, diversos y muy muy ricos. Y puedes comer o cenar en el Riad auténtica y exquisita comida local avisando con antelación. Cuando vuelva a Marrakech, tengo claro que está será mi única posibilidad de alojamiento. Y, por supuesto, lo recomendaré a todo aquel que vaya a Marrakech. Muchísimas gracias por vuestra profesionalidad, pero sobre todo por el cariño que derrochasteis con nosotros, y que transformó nuestro bonito viaje en algo verdaderamente maravilloso. Riad accogliente e pulito. La posizione consente di raggiungere ogni punto di interesse a piedi. Ottima la colazione, che varia ogni giorno, e le cene in terrazza. Ma la vera differenza la fa il personale, tutto al femminile, che é a dir poco fantastico . L’accoglienza, la disponibilità , piccole attenzioni (come il the alla menta ed i biscotti al rientro in hotel) e i loro sorrisi rendono unico il soggiorno e ti fanno sentire speciale , insomma non un semplice cliente .
