This is a truly exquisite Riad , don’t hesitate to stay here. We stayed in the Menara room, it was utterly beautiful. Very roomy on the first floor with a fabulous private terrace which was welcome in the heat. Our praise goes to Sara and Quentin and the whole team. They were so lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. It truly is an amazing calm, quiet oasis in the middle of the chaos of the medina. You truly cannot hear anything from the outside. The Riad itself was stunningly beautiful with amazing architecture and Moroccan detail , every room was beautiful and the garden roof terrace was very pretty. The plunge pools were lovely too. We had great breakfasts and the most amazing lunch, with the most flavourful vegetables I’ve ever tasted followed by a really tasty tagine and strawberries and cream ! I was in awe of the Riad all of the time we were there. We stayed for 5 nights. I’m still dreaming about it. One tip is to book the airport transfer, it’s brilliant as you are taken to the door. The Riad is down a very dark passageway, it is completely safe but you would never find it alone .

Nous avons séjourné au Riad Camilia avec notre famille et nos amis à l'occasion de la célébration de notre mariage. Pour ce faire, nous avons privatisé les lieux le temps d'un weekend prolongé. Le Riad est magnifique, très grand, lumineux, frais, en parfait état et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Les chambres, toutes différentes et très joliment meublées, étonnent par leur composition et leur architecture sensuelle, recherchée et fantaisiste. Véritable petit palais sorti tout droit d'un conte de Mille et Une Nuits, c'est un havre de paix qu'on n’a plus envie de quitter une fois installés. Cheminées, passages secrets, terrasses, patios privés, colonnes richement travaillés et salles de bain fantaisistes composent ce lieu incroyable. Les chambres du premier étage disposent de balcons surplombant le patio, ses orangers et le basin. Ils sont superbement décorés avec du mobilier ancien, des plantes, des lampes marocaines et des rideaux. La terrasse du riad est époustouflante, il s'agit d'une vraie dédale où il faut bon se perdre. Richement arborée, elle offre une multitude des lieux pour se détendre, prendre le petit-déjeuner ou tout simplement apprécier la vue sur les toits au moment où le soleil se couche. Mais le véritable joyaux du riad sont les propriétaires. Chargés de la gestion des lieux, polyvalents et extrêmement professionnels, Hélène et Serge ont fait de notre séjour marocain une expérience inoubliable. Accueillants, chaleureux, aimables et passionnés par leur métier, c'est grâce à leur aide précieuse que nous avons pu organiser un séjour de rêve tel que nous l'avions imaginé. Nous avons pu compter sur leur soutien pendant les mois de préparation qui ont précédé notre arrivée : de la mise en place du dîner d'honneur dans le patio, en passant par le choix des menus, les décorations, les fleurs, les artistes, l'installation sonore, les transports, la réservation des restaurants et jusqu'à l'installation d'un ciel de lanternes suspendues, ils ont été sur tous les fronts, revenant vers nous avec des propositions et un suivi clair et très précis concernant toute la logistique. La cuisine du Riad est délicieuse, le diner organisé dans le patio pour 24 personnes a été tout simplement parfait : cuisson maîtrisée et très belle présentation. Nous sommes rentrés ravis, heureux et très reconnaissant après notre séjour. Le personnel a été accueillant, aimable et serviable, répondant toujours à nos demandes avec un magnifique sourire. Sarah et Quentin (la fille et le beau fils d'Hélène et Serge) ont repris la gestion du riad depuis quelques mois, cela a été également un plaisir de les rencontrer. Ce jeune couple, dynamique et professionnel, saura vous guider dans vos recherches pour chiner bijoux, tapis anciens, boutiques design, bars et restaurants. Si vous cherchez un lieu magique à Marrakech, doublé d'un service impeccable, professionnel et accueillant, vous avez trouvé la bonne adresse.

The level of service and attention to detail were truly beyond our expectations from every staff member we encountered throughout our stay. Communication from Sarah and Quentin prior to our arrival was always timely and thorough. Despite multiple changes and my partner falling ill during our stay, never once did they make us feel like an inconvenience. They helped to coordinate every single detail of our brief 3 days in Marrakech. They arranged for drivers to pick us up and drop us off in different cities, porters to escort us to hard to find locations, paired us with a private guide around the media and helped us to secure dinner and spa reservations. Unfortunately, my partner became quite ill at one point and they graciously handled all the cancelation and rebooking details for us. The property itself is truly luxurious, well maintained and quiet. We stayed in the Dar el Bacha suite which was nothing short of dreamy and incredibly spacious . The rooftop breakfasts were something we looked forward to each day and continue to dream about. As foodies, it's worth noting that we enjoyed the food so much at Riad Camilia, Quentin and Sarah arranged for us to meet with their chef for a private cooking lesson. Do yourselves a favour and make sure to try their lemon and olive chicken tajine. It was truly the best we had in all of Morroco. All in all, this family run establishment is truly a hidden gem with the most exquisite surroundings and welcoming of hosts. Please do not hesitate to book, it was one of the most memorable hotels we've every stayed in and we travel often.

Stayed at Menara room of Riad Camilia for 2 nights. It was one one of our two best stays in Morocco. Everything was great - location, very very friendly staff, very very beautiful Riad and room. The dinner was absolutely the best of the best!!!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and booked the Riad Camila after reading the reviews; I can honestly say our hosts were excellent; nothing was too much trouble, The home-cooked meal we had was superb and served on the roof terrace; we booked a guide for half a day so as not to miss the essential parts of the city. The rooms were spotless and, from a design point, spot on and very tasteful. The staff were all very attentive and with good English. We will definitely return to their Camila
