Riad Mirage

Au fond d'une minuscule ruelle qui donne sur la rue Riad Zitoun Jedid, axe animé et commerçant nord sud de Marrakech, à 3 mn de la place Jemaa El Fna, se trouve ce charmant RIAD au calme de l'agitation. Situation très pratique pour visiter la ville. Accueil impeccable , site typique et agréable, chambre et salle de bain modernes et très propres autour d'une cours : qu'attendre de plus? Les hôtes sont charmants et de bon conseil, tant pour les restaurants aux alentours que pour les visites. Bons petits déjeuners sur le toit du Riad où se trouve aussi une petite piscine. Donc une excellente adresse.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans ce merveilleux Riad. Les chambres sont confortables, le personnel est attentionné et d’une gentillesse exemplaire. Le Riad est très propre et sent très bon. D’ailleurs vous pourrez acheter sur place le même parfum d’ambiance pour votre brûleur à parfum (ce que j’ai fais). La terrasse sur le toit avec la piscine permettent de bronzer et de se détendre. Il se situe à côté du souk et de la place jema al Fnaa. Je recommande fortement ce Riad pour vos séjours à Marrakech. Nous reviendrons. Encore merci pour ce séjour, nous nous souviendrons longtemps de l’hospitalité marocaine.

Location Near the main square and Jewish quarter. Be aware that cars cannot get to the riad so you will have a 10 minute walk with luggage. The roads are cobbled and there is rubbish and rubble to navigate. Riad As you'd expect, like a homestay/paying guest. Doors to room don't lock well. Beds were a decent size, pillows too soft, mattress hard. Little space for personal items. No mirrors. Suitable if all you need is a bed for the night but no good if you want to relax in your room as can feel claustrophobic and dark. The bathroom doors do not look and towels are not changed. Shower heads do not have the central grill so water trickles out. You will certainly not be able to wash your hair here unless you have an hour to spare!! The sink gets blocked and the safe does not work. Lock your personal items in your cases. Broken toilet seat and air conditioning is poor which is awful in 35 degree heat. There is one mirror above the sink and the walls are quite thin. Generally clean. The rooftop does not have a view and the pool is not particularly clean or inviting. Breakfast Served on the rooftop. There is one glass of orange juice per person and a choice of tea/coffee. One or two types of bread, jam & cheese, a fruit platter with apple, orange banana and Kiwi. Really quite a poor experience but we were told this is standard. We've been to Morocco many times and never experienced such a lack of interest in guests. Not really even worth waking up for - you'll get better in the medina! Service Check in is a long process and took an hour while Rashid tried to sell tours, guides and drivers to us. As we had booked restaurants and activities beforehand, service and attention quickly became poor and inattentive since the riad would not make more money from us. I should mention that they expect cash on arrival as soon as you check-in. Had we not already paid this, it is liked we would have left once we saw the tiny size of room and amenities. There were 8 of us so we had 3 rooms and each one had issues.

Riad très propre, bien située et calme avec coin piscine et bain de soleil à disposition. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Le personnel très sympathique et professionnel. Il y a toujours une personne pour vous aider à n’importe quelle heure de la journée ou de la nuit.

Un bellissimo e romantico riad, molto raffinato e curato. Sono stati davvero carini e disponibili per ogni nostra richiesta o necessità, pronti ad aiutarti. Un grande grazie al responsabile del riad. Li consiglio vivamente a tutti voi!!

We had a 3 night stay at Road Mirage. Mum and 22 year old twins (male and female). The family room was set up really well, and the Riad was quiet but just a stones throw from the main square. The host was super helpful, booked trips and tour guides for us. Would highly recommend it
