Lovely hotel in the town - very clean and comfortable with huge rooms and enormous beds, and balconies with views over the riverfront. Great restaurant with a varied menu; friendly, helpful staff. A welcome place to relax and clean up after a few days hiking in the jungle! Unlike some earlier reviewers, we found the wifi worked well throughout the hotel and they take credit cards. Totally recommended if you are in Maroantsetra.

Un petit bijou tenu par une femme formidable et un personnel aux petits soins pour les clients... Les chambres sont spacieuses, la propreté irréprochable,au restaurant la carte alléchante, les portions gargantuesques ... Et au surprise, les glaces faites maison sont addictives 🤗

The hotel is in a nice area of Maroantsetra next to the river and with good views. The service is very friendly, the food is very good and the restaurant is fine. The rooms are extremely spacious with lovely beds where you can sleep easily. The bathroom is ok, but everything needed is provided.

This is a good hotel in a very poor part of Madagascar. The rooms are clean, spacious and bright, with good views of the countryside. The choice in the restaurant was limited but the food was good; we could find local Madagascar cuisine there (which was rare). However, not every room was equiped with a mosquito net, there were few power sockets in the room and we could not open the French windows leading to the balcony. I would also suggest that each room be equiped with an electric kettle so that one would not have to buy bottled water; bottled water generates a lot of plastic garbage.

Hotel confortevole e comodo per le escursioni, per il porto e per l'aeroporto. Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Dalla terrazza delle camere molto spaziose e pulite si gode della vista sul fiume e delle attività dei cittadini che allestiscono le bancarelle lungo l'argine. La zona è ancora poco turistica quindi sicuramente i servizi sono ancora migliorabili. Nel complesso, il Manga Beach è consigliatissimo

My employer selected this hotel for me for a 2-week stay, based on high standards of facilities, service and security. I confirm: it was an excellent experience. I stayed in room #209, directly above the dining room and, contrary to other reviewers, I had no difficulty with wireless internet access.

Manga Beach easily meets standards of a standard European hotel (clean, spacious, european WC - with no shower curtain!), Air Conditioning (to block out dogs that bark all night and early morning roosters), and a nice garden to walk in. They have a generator, so if you are beset by the regular city power outages, you still have power! Staff are friendly, location is great (facing the river, at the bottom of a major street you can walk safely on). A couple heads up: They don't take credit cards, so make sure you have cash to pay your bill Wifi is very good in the restaurant, but terrible reception in your room

Grosszügige, saubere Zimmer, leckerer Willkommens-Fruchtsaft, gute sanitäre Anlagen, hervorragende Küche und sehr aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Wir sind von hier zu einem einwöchigen Trekking im Masoala-Regenwald aufgebrochen und es war sehr angenehm, hier nochmals einen Zwischenstopp in einem gut ausgerüsteten Hotel zu machen. Vom Flughafen Maroantsetra bequem erreichbar, mitten im Zentrum der Stadt, gute Basis für Ausflüge. Des chambres spacieuses et propres, un délicieux jus de fruits de bienvenue, de bonnes installations sanitaires, une excellente cuisine et un personnel de service très attentif. Nous sommes partis d'ici pour un trekking d'une semaine dans la forêt tropicale de Masoala et il était très agréable de faire à nouveau une halte ici dans un hôtel bien équipé. Facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport de Maroantsetra, en plein centre-ville, bonne base pour les excursions. Spacious, clean rooms, delicious welcome fruit juice, good sanitary facilities, excellent cuisine and very attentive service staff. We left from here for a week-long trek in the Masoala rainforest and it was very pleasant to have another stopover here in a well-equipped hotel. Easy to reach from Maroantsetra airport, right in the centre of town, good base for excursions.
