Fünf-Sterne-Rezension: Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in der La Kruger Lodge in Manoth Park in vollen Zügen genossen. Die wunderschönen Chalets liegen idyllisch und ruhig, bieten aber zugleich den idealen Ausgangspunkt – direkt vor den Toren der Crocodile Bridge – um sowohl faszinierende Tagestouren als auch spannende Nachtaktivitäten zu erleben. Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem engagierten Team: Bereits bei der Ankunft empfing uns die stets freundliche und hilfsbereite Rezeption, die uns tatkräftig bei der Organisation aller Aktivitäten unterstützte. Auch kulinarisch konnte ich keine Wünsche offenlassen – das Essen war hervorragend, unkompliziert und voller Geschmack. Die Abende auf der Terrasse, am knisternden Lagerfeuer mit einer Flasche Wein in der Hand, rundeten unseren Aufenthalt perfekt ab. Die entspannte Atmosphäre und das authentische Ambiente sorgten dafür, dass man sich hier sofort wohlfühlt. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team, dass unseren Besuch einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis macht. Ich kann die La Kruger Lodge uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen – hier stimmt einfach alles!

We had the perfect stay with the option to book safaris. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Also greetings to the bush baby who was visiting us every evening.

La Kruger is een luxueuze lodge met grote chalets en kamers. Goede bedden. Een prachtige setting met veel houten vlonders en hoogteverschillen. Heel vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk gegeten bij ontbijt en diner. Ideaal gelegen vlakbij toegang tot het Kruger park.

Great lodge. Friendly and attentive staff. Although we only had bed and breakfast as family members were staying elsewhere, the lodge was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was great and a good start to the day. The price for two of us was also very reasonable and we will definitely consider booking again when we come that way again, and partake in dinner menu as well.

This is a lengthy one - grab a coffee! We booked our trip to this lovely lodge via Voyage Prive, we stayed 7 nights. It was Full Board which included soft drinks and a stay in a luxury chalet with open vehicle safari drives included. The lodge is situated about 20 minutes from Kruger in a beautiful area called Marloth park. We had the most amazing time, my husband celebrated his 50th birthday while here and the staff certainly pulled out all the stops to make it very special. Our chalet was bush willow, very private and in good conditions as per the online images. I found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful and they work extremely hard. I particularly want to point out Given who was like a friend to us. The food was of good quality breakfast had lots of options from continental to many hot a la carte options. This was especially enjoyable after a sunrise safari! Lunch was a selection of sandwiches/ burgers and salads! The chips are some of the nicest I’ve ever had- recommend trying them. Dinner was 3 courses the menu was displayed outside daily. I enjoyed the dinners I would say I would have preferred to have a choice but each day there was a meat, vegetables and potatoes, couscous or rice. I would have liked to have perhaps pasta or a casserole but I think the food was typical of the region. Nice choice of wine options to purchase. We were busy each day with safaris and day trips and all were expertly organised by Jacques and the team. Jacques is a real asset to the place and kept us up to date at all times and check in on us regularly. The area around the lodge is lovely. Lots of animals roaming freely and monkeys playing in the trees. This was a real delight. There is a pool and sun loungers to use. We didn’t use the pool as it was too cold when we were there but I think it would be very refreshing in the hot summer. We really enjoyed evenings sitting outside by the fire with a blanket and glass of wine. It was magical. This is was a trip of a lifetime for us and La Kruger made it extra special. For anyone thinking of visiting in June. There was plenty of sunshine midday to early afternoon. But once the sun was gone it was very cold. It was absolutely freezing in Kruger national park at sunrise. Wrap up very well. Thank you Jacques and team for everything. If we are visiting Kruger again we will stay again.
