#ThegHotel #ThegHotel Honestly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had in Egypt. It’s the clearest example of why no one should trust any local hotel chain—always go for an international brand instead. The hotel is extremely overpriced and massively overrated. The staff have absolutely no idea what hospitality means. And to be fair, it’s not entirely their fault—they are clearly not trained at all. There is ZERO management, no sense of customer service, and it feels like they have no understanding of what guests expect when they book a vacation to relax. The food was absolutely awful—dirty, not fresh, and tasteless. Breakfast was a DISASTER !! I’ll show you the queue where just one staff member was cooking all the eggs, and there was no variety at all in the buffet. It honestly felt like I had rented a cheap cabin by the lagoon, not booked a proper hotel stay. There was constant banging and construction noise all day. (Video attached)When I complained to the hotel, they said, “Sorry, and offered me a free dinner as compensation. That dinner ended up being even WORSE ( steak attached below)—slow service (I waited over an hour and a half), terrible food, and nothing fresh or clean. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I will never stay here again. The management is absolutely terrible. #ThegHotel
