Sheets wasn’t clean

Overall the hotel is okay. The bed was absolutely amazing along with the sheets. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I didn't get up in time for the continental breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Would definitely recommend. Will stay here again when traveling through this part of the state.

Lock went out on door. Was Promised owner would come out and replace batt. NEVER CAME! WE were inconvenienced but unable to leave our room cause could not get back in. We had to do breakfast at separate times. Owner obviously does not care a out his customer's ers comfort and convenience! They lied to us!!

The service rep refused to issue a refund before I even stepped in. Terrible customer service. The building was also under construction and in disrepair

I would prefer the place. However , I would like to recommend maintain property more cleanliness and a very good

i'm writing this for 2 reasons, because i travel a lot almost 1/3 of the year and like to let fellow travelers know what to expect. and 2nd because i get tired of people who write reviews and want to compare hotels like this to the ritz or st regis but don't want to pay those rates it's not fair. this is a very nice affordable hotel very well kept, clean, comfortable and in a safe location. yes it's is an older hotel but i found the rooms spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. yes some of the furniture is older but it was clean, these days you can't have clean and sparkly new an affordable too. the breakfast was decent, in most cases hotels offer the same things, waffles, cereal, yogurt, coffee, sweet rolls, oatmeal, coffee, juice,and milk they had this. the property outside was very well kept. i had no complaints for the price it was well worth it, i have stayed at 4 hotels in marion and for the price i'd stay here everytime, i would highly recommend this hotel for anyone not wanting all the bells and whistles and a fair price. i'd like to thank the staff they were all helpful and very friendly. i gave it 4 stars because to be fair to other hotels there are better but the cost is way more. on a scale of 1-10 i'd give it a 9 and wish i could find more affordable places like this as i travel.

First off, I was put in room #101, but it smelled like a smoke room, and I have COPD...then I was moved to #102. When I went to take a shower, they never sealed the bottom of the sliding glass, so when I would've stepped out I could have slipped on the tile floor, because it was covered with water. Also when I first turned on the water, the faucet knob came off in my hand. The room key did not work in separate doors, which I was told to prop open the door if I go outside...(great for security). Needless to say I am not happy at all !!! The date I stayed there was 4/19-20, 2024. Confirmation # 84098EE021697

Room was very comfortable. Service was very good. Breakfast offering was very basic. No eggs or breakfast meat were offered.
