Comfort Inn & Suites Marion I-57

Been here many times. Staff has been absolutely superior this time. All staff we met were very welcoming! I have never seen the breakfast area smell so clean, food was fresh and Mechelle is AMAZING. We check out this coming Tues, but had to share this today.

Back to this hotel first time since Jun 2021...have always enjoyed staying here very much. This time, our 4-night stay got off to a rough start; evidently, new ADA guidelines call for bed height no greater than 23 inches, much too low for my 91-year old mom whose right leg does not bend. The mattress had nothing to support between it and the metal frame, so when Mom pushed down with both hands to try to get up she simply sank in deeper and with only one leg to help, could not rise. We both also found the unsupported mattress terribly uncomfortable. We are truly not the type to complain, but with mom in tears I had to ask for a change in accommodation. The staff was responsive and called in the property manager, who was wonderful. She immediately moved us to a much more comfortable room with standard bed (we fortunately had some bathroom mobility aids with us, so no worries there) and quite happily the new room was near the elevator. The regular bed was super-comfortable and we both slept great for the remaining 3 nights. We were also glad to find that the outstanding breakfast is still outstanding, including fresh-cooked fried eggs, sausage, biscuits with country gravy, yummy waffles and quite decent coffee. We were extremely grateful to be taken such good care of at this Comfort Inn & Suites and thank one and all there for all their kindness.

This Comfort Inn lives up to the internet hype. Easy parking lot, centrally located. Rooms are extremely clean and well kept. But the staff is what makes the difference. We arrived as a family of four and every single hotel employee we interacted with was A+. The front desk provided extra paper products and toothbrushes (we’re traveling with our kids). We met both the manager and the assistant manager over our two-day stay and I can understand why employees are happy here. We purchased two rooms for our stay from the app, and I was unable to ensure our kids would be right next door. Then I called the hotel the week prior to our visit, and with zero hassle we suddenly had adjacent rooms. Great customer service. Special thanks to Mechelle for custom making scrambled eggs for my wife & daughter for breakfast. The over medium eggs are perfect too Mechelle! YOU are the reason this is the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in ages. Thank you all; we will be back.

Very informed and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Pool is nice and relaxing with towels supplied. Quiet place to stay. Breakfast good. Staff was beyond helpful. Lots of places for food and supplies right by the inn. We will be revisiting again soon.

This hotel was very clean and safe. At the time I was traveling with a trailer for a move and felt very safe parking it over night in the lot due to great lighting. The breakfast had actual fried eggs too which was a nice surprise. Al thought I was only there for one night I would recommend it to anyone.

WOW! If all hotels could take lessons from this place I would travel even more. Clean( which is most important to me) comfortable beds, large rooms, and did I mention CLEAN! Great breakfast and friendly staff. Would give more stars if possible.

The handicap accessible shower in this hotel was THE BEST ENGINEERED of any of the 6 hotels we stayed in during our recent trip from Ill. back and forth to Florida. Getting in and out was extremely easy and I felt safe. The water from the shower DIDN'T leak onto the floor, like other hotels. I definitely recommend this hotel. Very clean place and the staff was very helpful.

Had a quick one night stay and all was well. Eric at the front desk was nice. Breakfast was good. I'm glad there was a Gideon bible. Mattress was comfy. I recommend staying here if you need a place while on a roadtrip.

We’ve stayed at this hotel a few other times and have not been disappointed. This time was no exception. The reason behind my title is due to the fact that the staff here did not miss a beat. We had asked for a few specific accommodations and they were honored, even on a busy night. They did a great job. We also got great service from Chevy while we were there, By far, one of the best Choice properties we’ve been to. We will definitely be back
