Our room was not in the hotel proper, but in the lovely garden apartment addition located a block away, closer to the lively riverfront Lent district, and easily ranked as the best accommodation we found in Slovenia. Ample work space, a restful bed, and a lovely exterior patio perfect for morning reflection and an afternoon drink. The staff is supremely accommodating, and the breakfast buffet (with optional omelettes) suffices, though even more satisfying options can be found a few paces away."
