A hidden gem! The outside is clean but nothing fancy. Inside? Meticulously comfortable and probably he most relaxing place I’ve stayed EVER! As a million miler traveler on American Airlines I’ve obviously stayed at a hotel or two. This one was perfect!!!!

This is an independently owned property with good management. It got hit by Hurricane Ian so affected parts have been rebuilt. Expect a fairly old but nicely/ lovingly maintained property and you’ll enjoy it, especially since I think it’s the most reasonable lodging you might find on Marco Island

The Boat House Marco Island is not only my favorite place to stay on the island but my favorite place in the entire state. I travel a lot for work and the folks at the Boat House always go above and beyond to make me feel at home when I have to be away from home. The staff is super friendly and I always love seeing Melanie at the front desk when I check in. Alexis was a huge help with coordinating my late arrival and even gave me a room upgrade for being a return visitor. Dino does a great job of maintaining the property and the cleaning staff had my room looking so nice by the time I checked in. The property itself is so cool with an updated old Florida feeling. The rooms have all the accommodations you could ever need. Coffee machines, refrigerators, and a washer/dryer combo in the condos. I really enjoyed waking up and seeing a pod of dolphins swimming through the channel to Collier Bay while I sipped my morning coffee. There are schools of snook just right off the dock if you're into fishing. The view of North Point at sunrise is breathtaking. I'm looking forward to my stay next summer!

This is our fifth or sixth time using The Boat House. In short, we love them and it’s the only place we would stay in the Fort Myers/Marco Island area. The old Florida feel is a wonderful contrast to the high-rise glass and steel of the rest of Marco Island. We have met and worked with Melanie each time and she is wonderful. The rooms are clean, comfy, and absolutely suited to our visits. The views of the water from their dock area ain’t bad either! In short, please don’t book The Boat House because we don’t want the secret to get out. In all seriousness, though, don’t hesitate to stay at The Boat House as you’ll love it. We are already planning to come back in December with family and friends and of course we will be staying at The Boat House. Highest possible recommendation.

The location is also ideal — quiet and serene, yet close to restaurants, shops, and Marina on the river. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or just want to unwind in a beautiful spot, the Boat House Hotel is a hidden gem on Marco Island. I’ll definitely be coming back!
