Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club Marathon, Curio by Hilton

We thought this hotel was wonderful! It allows you access to the property next door as well, although we did not take advantage of that. We were upgraded to a 1 bed 1.5 bath suite! The bedroom and living room were separate spaces. The master bath was updated and really nice. The view was of the courtyard where they have a fire pit, loungers as well as yard chess and other games. It was the large attraction for the kids. I wish I would have taken photos as I usually do but I did not this time. But the room was very nice. It had Molton Brown luxury products in the bathrooms. The suite also had a service kitchen with a sink, espresso maker, microwave and mini fridge. It was really nice! The hotel bar was really great as well and the bartenders attentive. The property grounds were really pretty and right on the water which was great too! They even had a full spa. I was bummed we didn’t have time to take advantage of that. Next visit we will for sure. Parking was really easy, although I hate paying daily for a resort charge and also daily for parking. But it was easy in and out. Unfortunately we did not eat in the restaurant although we wanted to. It looked really pretty and the view was beautiful. However they didn’t have anything vegetarian. “Note fish isn’t vegetarian, and there are only so many wedge salads you can eat hold the bacon!” It would be nice to see a classy place like this offer a little more variety. However most of the Keys this is a challenge. Overall the stay was fantastic and I will be back. As Diamond we were supposed to get a credit per day per guest and upon checkout I asked for the bill to account for that credit. They assured me it was taken care of. I always get the final bill emailed. Note to self not to do that when you are asking for a correction. Upon getting home it in fact was not credited. I have since called, emailed and chatted via the online site with no response! I have tried numerous times to reach someone but finally gave up. For this reason I’ve subtracted a star although many would have subtracted more. I didn’t want their rating to suffer for the lack of follow thru, as the resort is really nice. But the billing situation, along with the parking fees and no veggie friendly main courses it kept me from 5 stars. We likely will try it again!

I would like to say thank you to Cira Torres your front desk staff for a wonderful experience, she was very informativo of the areas of. A very detailed, humble person who represents your company well. She spoke to me concerning the spa, areas that I can explore. We should have more people like her in this world.

Everyone at the restaurant on site was wonderful! They genuinely seemed to love their jobs. Even all the housekeepers were very friendly and accommodating. 3 pools to choose from, giant yard chess set, outdoor seating everywhere. Diane and the others were very kind…
