"Reservoin suoraan hotellin kanssa ja sai suotuisa huonehinta. Matkustimme junalla ja ottimme taksin asemalta. Hotelli on erittäin korkeassa asemassa yli laakson. Laakson on kaunis, mutta me olimme melko paljon rankaistu ilman kuljetuksia. Seuraavana päivänä kävelimme alas tiellä Marateaan, mutta löysimme kävelytien Kristuksen pelastajan patsaan palaamisestamme, vuoristokävely, joten ottimme sen, kunnes olimme lähellä hotellia. Se oli paljon mukavampi kävely. Kokonaisuudessaan, mukaan lukien lyhyt kävely kaupungin, kävelimme 9 km. Olin varannut sviitti. Se oli suuri ja melko perustavanlaatuinen, mutta tämä näkyy hintaan. Jos sviitti oli ollut miellyttävämpää, hinta olisi ollut miellyttävämpää. Terassi oli yhtä suuri kauniin näköalalla lahti. Sviitti oli huomattavasti puhdas ja säilytti niin kaunein huonetyttöjen. Me sattuimme jäämään, kun oli yhtiökokous paikalla. Oli 300 yritysvierasta ja sitten mieheni ja minä. Se oli hauska. Emme ole italialaisia, mutta katsotaan kiinnostuneena. Ei ole italialainen eikä ole osa yrityssopimusta, olimme melko helppo havaita. Huolimatta, tai ehkä yleissopimuksen vuoksi, meistä tuntui, että meitä tuntee henkilöstö ja heitä kohdellaan hyvin, koska he selvästi tunnustivat, että meitä oli hieman ylimääräinen. (150:1) Ruoka oli hyvä ja ruokamies erittäin miellyttävä. Uima-allas oli todellinen hoito. Hatut ovat pakollisia. Beatrice vastaanotto oli erityisen miellyttävä ja avuksi, kun johtaja oli lähellä, ammattilainen, avuksi ja myös melko naurettava! Miksi ei 5*? En ole varma. Oli pieniä asioita, jotka eivät sopineet meille. Esimerkiksi aamiainen juomakone, joka vähentää henkilökohtaista yhteyttä henkilöstöön ja tekee ruokakokemuksen tuntematon tarpeettomasti persoonaton. Katsomme takaisin olomme hyvin myönteisesti ja nauramme siitä, miten päädyimme italialaiseen autoosayhtiön yleissopimus viikonloppuna."

The service was outstanding; we felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. The manager went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and cared for. The room was clean and spacious. We plan on staying at Murmann for longer next time we are in Maratea."

"We had the best time at this hotel. The staff are amazing, so kind and helpful; the hotel isn’t large so you get to see the same faces everyday which is lovely. Breakfast was fab, great spread and loads of choice. The surroundings are truly stunning, and it was so much fun getting lost in all the different levels and terraces. The place is a little further out of the way so if you don’t enjoy a long walk, a car would be useful; we did a combo of taxis and walking (with the help of the hotel shuttle) which was perfect for us. It’s so quiet and peaceful, and the private beach part at the bottom of the hill was so beautiful and it was so nice to be able to get in the sea to swim. I cannot this hotel enough, I would come back in a heartbeat."

"Elegant hotel in the hills with beautiful views. Our room was well appointed and had a comfy large bed and balcoy, as well as a seperate bathroom with great view. Complimentary tea and coffee and a fridge were also available, as well as a safe and towels for the pool and terrace area. The village itself is nice and quaint with an array of restaurants just off the main road and square. Concierge and allocated parking and all the staff were very polite and helpful, and provided a good and varied breakfast."
