Traumhaft schönes, sehr ruhigesHotel! Sicher nicht ganz günstig für Kenia, aber jeden Schilling wert! Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! Für Fans von „out of africa“: das Museum ist nur 10 min zu Fuß entfernt.

Ordered Tomahawk steak- asked for a medium steak & it came welldone. we had to ask for candles to be brought to table, The waiter Peris was a trainee, 2.5m got overwhelmed with orders The recommended bottle of wine was only 1( ran out after we drunk 1 bottle).

Located on the infamous Karen Blixen estate in the beautiful suburb of Karen, Nairobi. I have stayed in the "Honeymoon Suite" several times which I highly recommend. It has a modern huge bathroom and a separate living room. Hotel is in a perfect location in Karen (suburbs of Nairobi) Although Hogmead has just opened and I recommend this hands down. Also in the suburbs of Nairobi. Karen Blixen is always a great spot for lunch and people watching. Finch Hattons is a charming poolside restaurant next to the more upscale Babette's restaurant. You can be sure to find a lively bar that is modern and fun. Though the restaurant service could be a bit better the food is good and you are apt to run into someone from the states or Europe. Dining out in their beautiful well kept gardens is a plus, it is beautiful and they take great care of their grounds. The manager is very nice and will be sure to make your stay enjoyable.

Very calm and exquisite small hotel in the middle of Nairobi. Very great houses with everything you need. Excellent service, great dining and terrific breakfast! We only stayed a night unfortunately since we were on our way to a safari. But this is a very nice, quiet place if you need a five star stay in Nairobi!

Fantastic experience , the food was great and was served quickly . So was the wine. Excellent Team and customer care right from the gate . The Team extends an authentic customer service experience . The ambience was also good and neat, lots of greenery and well maincured lawns

The restaurant is set in a perfect area and the ambience is beautiful. Staff are very attentive and take great care to meet customer needs. Clean and well set table covers. Warm towels to cleanse hands leave one feeling at home. Food temperatures are on point as is the right cutlery and glasses. The room can be noisy when full due to size. Deco is warm and cozy. The one time I had a bad experience with a tough tomahawk steak, the manager was quick to rectify and apologize. Today I was pleasantly surprised by the most succulent tasty lamb chops. This only says that one must be willing to part with a pretty sum. A treat for special occasion is Houston’s restaurant.
