Simba & Oryx Nature Camp

We stayed two nights at this place.This hotel is situated at a stunning location bordering the Masai Mara and you will find harmless wild animals in front of rooms. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.The food is excellent.The staff is very friendly.Only recommendation for improvement is that they can develop the path ways leading to rooms from the main building.

Lovely multi-night stay here. The rooms are so cool with their glass fronts so you can see the Mara right from bed. The food was delicious and the beds very comfy. What makes this place truly special, though, is the staff. Everyone from the manager to waiters to security people were all amazing! They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable!

I stayed in Simba Oryx by accident: my trip operator forgot to book me into my original hotel, and I was rebooked here at the last minute. But I was ultimately extremely happy about the mix-up! Simba Oryx is a FANTASTIC hotel! The staff welcomed me warmly as if I was always meant to stay here. They gave me an extremely large, comfortable and well-equipped room with three beds, a large bathroom, closet, and hot water shower. Simba Oryx is also one of the few lodges inside the Masai Mara park; it is not fenced so you often see zebras and wallabies inside the property. They are breathtaking. And don’t worry about carnivores: the Masai patrol the property 24/7 and escort you everywhere. The hotel also built in a red light system that deters predators from coming in. Your room door is all made of glass so you will see the beautiful sunset in the savannah planes! Food is also great as is the massage parlour (also seems to work round the clock!) I will be staying in Simba Oryx again upon returning to Kenya.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay here. The views from the tents and the bar / restaurant area were beautiful, especially of the sunset. The tents are well equipped with good showers and comfy beds, and you get a great view through the glass front. The food was great too and tasted very fresh. But the best part was the staff - every single member of staff was really friendly and welcoming and ensured we had a great time. This was definitely the best place we stayed in Kenya! :)

Le logement est éloigné du village et fait partie intégrante du parc Masai. Comme vous êtes immergés, l'endroit vous donne une vue très charmante sur les collines et les animaux au loin. La maison tente a énormément d'espace, est bien meublée et est très propre. Un énorme remerciement aux équipes qui ont été au soin et agréables, et une mention spéciale au chef cuisinier qui nous a concocté des plats divins du petit déjeuner au dîner (+1 sur les soupes maison, un délice).

Lodge très dépaysant et calme aux portes de la réserve Masaï Mara. Les girafes se promènent au bout du domaine et la vue est superbe. Accueil très chaleureux grâce au personnel aux petits soins avec une mention spéciale à notre jeune serveur. Hôtel très propre, bonne literie. Lieu de quiétude absolue au coeur de la nature. Ambiance idéale pour rêver à votre safari de la journée et même le continuer une fois de retour au lodge.
