We had an amazing family trip to Ilora Retreats! The camp is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and the food was delicious. The game drives were a highlight—our guide made sure we saw everything from lions to elephants. The best part was relaxing at the camp after a long day, enjoying the views and the peaceful atmosphere. It's a perfect family getaway that I recommend!

Ilora Retreats was everything we expected and more. The tent was super comfortable, with great views and all the little details taken care of. Waking up to the sounds of nature was such a cool experience. The food was delicious, and we loved the bush dinner—it felt so special. The team was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The whole experience was a perfect mix of comfort and adventure. We’d definitely come back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay, luxurious tents, incredible food, and the most breathtaking safari experiences. The game drives were perfectly planned, and we saw everything from lions to a cheetah with her cubs. Every detail was taken care of, and the staff was beyond kind. Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic location (the tents are in the woods) with high-quality services. The tents’ decoration fits the atmosphere of the camp. Spent 2 nights with the second one being a little “noisy” because of the elephants wandering in the camp. If you feel like seeing hippos, you can do so after just walking a few hundred meters (preferably with a guard).

We (4 adults and 1 kid) stayed at Ilora for 3 nights during our maiden visit to Masai Mara. Airport pickup, Nairobi-Masai Mara transfer, welcome and check-in were all pretty smooth. The rooms were spacious, with tasteful interiors, all required amenities and comfortable sitting+beds. The staff was very courteous and caring. The chef and food was top notch and covered a range of cuisines incl. Indian, Italian and Asian. Savannah breakfast and Bush Dinner were very special and well organized. The security staff was always alert and available through the night. Reception, dining area and bar lounge were aesthetically done with comfortable sitting. The sky deck provided a great location for star gazing in the night. Finally, the location of the camp provided easy access to the entire Masai Mara. The Hippo pool and Paradise Lion range were just around the corner. Overall I would highly recommend it.

We spent Christmas at Ilora Retreats and it was such a wonderful experience. Traveling with two older family members, we were little worried about how everything would go, but the team made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. The tents were spacious, perfect for relaxing after the game drives, which were absolutely incredible. The staff took care of everything, and we all had such a great time. Definitely a holiday to remember!

Highly recommend Ilora Retreats! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The location was excellent - it is very close to the airstrip, and of course, all the animals! The tents were very spacious, and the food was really tasty. Staying in the tents was like staying in a regular hotel room - all the amenities and more were available, so I had no issue adjusting to life in Masai Mara! It was actually like staying in a hotel equivalent of a junior suite. I also really appreciated the hot water bags that kept us warm throughout the cold nights (still amazed at how that was possible!). The staff was extremely hospitable and welcoming. Whenever we wanted anything, they responded quickly. The staff thoughtfully packed so much warm food and drinks for us whenever we went on long morning/full day safaris, which was wonderful. Special shoutout to Williams & James, our very knowledgeable and friendly guides. I can't wait to return to Masai Mara and Ilora Retreats :) Truly a memorable experience made possible by Ilora!

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team of Ilora resorts for organising a fantastic stay and safari. The attention to detail, seamless coordination and warm hospitality made the experience truly unforgettable. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories... I am looking forward to visit again Special thanks to General Manager, Reception staff, restaurant staff, house keeping staff, guides Mr.Williams and Mr.James, all were amazing. Food was awesome, Special thanks to Wild Voyager team Mr.Alonkar Chandra and his team for effortlessly planning the itinerary and smoothly executing my dream holiday Thank you

What an amazing experience it was to stay at Ilora Retreat. Been to Masai Mara several times before but never had this luxurious experience. Hard to believe that one can have this kind of luxury in the middle of the savannah. Big 5 was of course the highlight.. but saw so much more. Cant wait to go back.
