Koala Cabins Sunshine Coast

Beautiful area, very nice, it was raining for most of our stay, but inside the cabin was comfortable and dry. Very happy regardless of the rain. The frogs were enjoying the rain, croaking for most of the night. The sound of rain on the roof was also nice. Will be back.

The unit was very lovely comfortable and homely and the amenities where as described. The view was fantastic and in a very peaceful setting. Listening to nature do its thing. The host we're very welcoming when we arrived. Also received a gift. Which was very kind and thoughtful. Thank you. Lovely stay, friendly host ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gary is the friendliest, most attentive owner of holiday accommodation I have had the privilege to meet. The Bluey cabin was very clean and spacious. My disabled cousin thoroughly enjoyed her stay and she was very happy with the firmness of the bed which she said was very comfortable. My miniature Poodle, Mojo, was also made very welcome and was greeted warmly on a daily basis by multiple staff. Two of the friendly staff (both on a working holiday from Italy) were doing maintenance and were happy for a chat, and they were very happy with management who treated them more like family than staff. My overall impression was of a well run, friendly destination where everybody was happy. Management this good is not learnt nor by accident. You either have the skills and attitude, or you don't. Gary certainly is one of the best.

Retreat-style cabins abound on the Sunshine Coast and more so along the Blackall Range region spanning the Maleny - Montville - Flaxton - Mapleton ridge of top class dining and accommodation,PLUS the amazing views that are offered from this wonderful part of Queensland....... in fact, why would anyone bother traveling thousands of kilometres to sight-see when all this lies at your feet..? However all that said, a stand-out venue to spend the night is the Koala Cabins establishment in Mapleton, where the new owner (less than a month) Gary, with his warm and welcoming smile introduced us to a very cosy clean and private cabin shared with an abundance of natures sounds and wildlife, not the least koalas, while inside there are the expected creature comforts of air-con, pot-belly heater (gas/electric), internet and a basic kitchenette facility, all sufficient to ensure a pleasant stay. Shops and great dining are all within a couple of minutes drive, so to sum it all up, if you are looking for a great place to stay for a night or several, put this venue on your list....you won't be disappointed.

What do you say. Friendly, clean, everything in good condition. All Amenities close by. Peaceful and quiet. Super friendly, relaxed venue with modern, clean, comfortable cabins set amongst beautiful rain forest. Highly recommend staying here. Gary and his team were fantastic hosts. The location and surrounds is spectacular and close to cafes and a great pub.
