Goldfinch Hotel Mangalore

This is our third stay at Goldfinch in 3 months. The rooms have usually been quite clean but this time the bathroom had mould on the ceiling. My sister developed an allergic reaction and sneezed all night developing a cough by the next day. This kind of mould in the environment is very hazardous to people especially children, the elderly or those who have a weak immune system. The establishment should ensure air-conditioning units are cleaned and serviced regularly and rooms inspected for mould on a regular basis.

The experience in the hotel is nice! Will come again if I travel to mangalore next time!

Opted for single bed got no choice and had to select twin beds. reception assured to change the room next day when available Team did not do. Spring Bed was bad could not sleep well both nights . No body came to request for room shift. There was too kuch condensate frint of washroom in the changing area could be very risky to slip.

Everything was awesome. No vomplaints about anything. It was a perfect stay for me at Gold Finch Mangalore. Had my mum with me and even before I asked for the staff provided a room close to the lift and also every service to my mum’s room. Thanks heaps Gold Finch Team Mangalore 🙏🏻👌🏻🙌🏻.

At the time of booking and checkin, we had informed the hotel that there were 3 adults staying in the room, yet they have us a very small room. It took them more than 4 hours and just as many calls to get the additional mattress setup in the room. When I tried to order a cup of coffee early in the morning, I was informed that they do not provide room service before 7:00 am. I ordered 2 plates of sandwiches, and it took them almost 1 hour to deliver it, and when I called the room service team to enquire about what was going on, they told me that they forgot my room number. The fruits served in a fruit salad were raw and almost inedible. The room provided was so small, that with 3 people in the room, you can barely walk about. The hotel kept asking us to take their spa services despite stating that we did not want it. They do not even offer basic drinking water in the room. They have bottles of water available with a 250% mark up. A ₹10 bottle of Bisleri water is kept in the room and charged for ₹35. The walls all have water damage, and the floors have pieces of the wooden flooring coming out. The cupboards are also damaged. There is no working exhaust fan available in the bathroom, so this spoils the ambiance of the room. The staff are nice and courteous, but the service is very slow. And the room and facilities are seriously very overpriced, not at all worth they hype or the cost.
