First let me say the good about this place: Strong shower water pressure Second, the bad: 1. Room smelled like stale smoke and musty mold dirt. The hallway smelled a 100% better than our room 2. Air conditioner filthy. Inch thick dirt on the vent that prevented the room from moving around. Was humid, cold and damp 3. Bathroom sink had cracks in porcelain and was dirty 4. Bathtub needed a good scrubbing 5. Bad calking job around the toilet and had mold at the back base of the toilet. 6. Bad calking job around the perimeter of the baseboards in the bathroom 7. Bad paint job. Cracks, chips, dents in walls. Wall coloring was not inviting. Had dark purple paint 8. Not enough outlets. One behind the Tv did not work 9. Refrigerator did not get cold enough 10. The curtains had holes in it 11. Continental Breakfast: not a lot of choices and nothing healthy to eat 12. The housekeepers claimed they did not speak English and proceeded to say in very clear distinct English, “I don’t speak English” 13. Front desk person, Cacey said breakfast was in room 208 which was not. She did’t bother to tell us it was second floor at the end of the hall and turn left to open hall with room on the left. 14. The carpet looked old; smelled and looked dirty. Wasn’t vacuumed around the perimeter. It’s a wonder it didn’t have bugs. When walking barefoot the carpet it felt dirty 15. Front Desk Service rated zero. Cacey on first shift was cocky and made faces while she explained that maintenance will get to our room when they can. I reported the problems early in the morning to a man at the desk then this Cacey person. She claimed They had an emergency to get to then they will be there. I said, “when? The last day we are there?!” Maintenance never came. We asked for a new room. Cacey said it depends on their availability and how we paid for hotel stay. I explained to Cacey I was allergic to mold. She was not in the least bit concerned about my sensitivity to mold. We saw the assistant manager on the last day. She told us to write a review on Days Inn website. She said we should have been given another room. And said Cacey was being lazy. I told both the front desk and the assistant manager we will never return to this hotel again.
