Serena Hotel - Punta del Este - Unico Sobre la Playa arvostelua

I made the reservation, paid the hotel and could not stay because when I arrived they had already placed somebody in my room and they eve did not know who was I. The room. They they had to call all staffs to find out. And still could not find out. The worst part is that they did not not know my room 120 was occupied and they give me the keys of the room, and I went to the room with my luggage and and when I did open the door, people were sleeping in the room. Really bad. The. They took almost one hour to see what happen and could not find out the issue nor solve it. Finally the got me another room in another hotel. Around 5km away. Much cheaper and not refunded my money as well. Terrible.

Hotel pé na areia de Punta del Este, com duas piscinas (uma interna aquecida e uma externa gelada) que não pudemos utilizar a externa mesmo indo no verão, por ser gelada. Há um restaurante do hotel com ótimo café da manhã e um restaurante anexo ao hotel muito bonito e agradável, tanto é que jantamos duas noites ali. O pôr do sol é maravilhoso. Recomendo o hotel.

Un hotel sobre la playa que lo hace una especie de resort. Buenas y básicas instalaciones, no se necesita más. Desayunos con un concepto de bufet a la carta que lo hacen rico y suficiente. El personal muy amable. Quizás a mejorar la carta de restaurante que es limitada y restrictiva, que al insistir se lograban hacer cambios. Por lo demás una experiencia fabulosa. Volvería sin duda.

Passamos nossas bodas de 26 anos de casados e meu aniversário neste lugar paradisíaco. Toda a equipe sempre preocupada em garantir o bem estar dos hóspedes . Único hotel pé na areia de Punta . O restaurante Mansa também é uma maravilha! Já estamos com vontade de voltar .

Discovered this adults-only hotel via the internet quite by accident, but what a great accident! Located on the more sheltered Mansa Beach section of Punta del Este, this is the only hotel that is located right on the beach and with fantastic views over the South Atlantic Ocean as well as the city itself. The hotel overall has a modern beach vibe, with neutral tan tones and natural wood accents. Rooms are spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. The pool area is very cool, with cabanas and beach chairs, as well as direct access to the super wide beach that stretches for miles in both directions. Food was excellent, and a special shout-out to Walter (Wally), the head waiter who made sure every guest felt special and valued. This hotel is a must for anyone heading to Punta del Este!

My husband and I recently spent four nights at the Serena hotel while on our honeymoon in November. We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay. Based on our experience, the good: - The hotel is in a beautiful location on the beach - Several of the staff members are very friendly and helpful (special thanks to Francisco for helping us with our check-in ordeal) Then, the bad: - Both hotel restaurants were closed for the duration of our stay, with no advance warning or discount offered. - The night we checked in to the hotel, we had to switch rooms three times (first broken air conditioner, second the door to the room would not latch shut, third broken safe that wouldn't stop beeping). We were told that the hotel would extend "a courtesy" to us to compensate for the hour-long ordeal. This courtesy turned out to be 3 Ferrero Rochers. - The rooms themselves are cramped and poorly sound-proofed (no seal around the door), and our mattress was saggy. - Despite what their website says, the Serena is NOT an adults-only hotel (one of the reasons we picked this hotel for our honeymoon). During our stay, we encountered at least half a dozen children, including a fussy baby in the breakfast room and a young boy doing cannonballs in the pool while shouting up to his mother on her balcony. When we checked out, the receptionist asked if our stay was ok and we voiced our frustrations. He attempted to talk to the reception manager for us. They claimed that they could not offer a partial refund because the room was booked through a third party, and instead offered us a late checkout or sandwiches (both irrelevant as we were leaving to catch a bus), or a discount on a future stay (even if we didn't live 9,000 km away, we would not be staying at the Serena again). We asked if they could at least pay for our taxi to the bus station, and were told they "weren't comfortable" with that. Through all of this, the reception manager refused to come out of their office to speak to us, forcing the employee helping us to go back and forth from us to the office relaying messages. There are so many other beautiful hotels in Punta del Este - don't waste your time with the Serena.

So my husband wanted to take me to Punta del Este since it was my first time in Uruguay. It was a beautiful hotel, and only one directly on the beach. The staff went above and beyond. The heated indoor pool was great since it was too cold to get in the ocean or get in the outside pool. They recommended great restaurants downtown. I would truly stay there again if I returned

Excelente ubicacion, habitacion amplia comoda y lindas, con vista al mar, esta sobre la playa. Servicio de playa, buen restaurante sobre el mar. Ojo la pileta con demasiado cloro, pone negra las joyas de plata. Faltaria gimnasio.

Lo mejor del hotel es la comodidad de estar sobre la playa sin tener que estar cruzando avenidas, sin cargar reposeras, sombrillas... Desayunas mirando el mar y de ahí directamente al camastro en la playa o en la piscina que está sobre la playa. Te agarras un toallon en la barra y listo. La comida del restaurante es excelente y la atención de los empleados también. El hotel está impecable y súper limpio todo aunque las habitaciones son muy pequeñas. Conviene ir en auto, hay parking sino un taxi hasta el centro cuesta unos 450 pesos que son unos 12 usd.

Amei tudo, passei 7 dias incríveis nesse hotel. Desde a hora que chegamos, que já fomos tratados pelo nome já estavam nos aguardando até a hora de ir embora, todos funcionários prestativos, restaurante delicioso, fora o hotel unico com pé na areia de punta, os mimos no quarto todos os dias...enfim voltarei com toda certeza.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Geschmackvoll gestaltetes Hotel in bester Lage direkt am Strand. Alle Bereiche sehr gepflegt und sauber. Äußerst hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, vielfältig und lecker.

Appena arrivi in reception ti fanno pagare il soggiorno Camere buie con forte puzza di muffa Cambiata subito con supplemento di € 100 Ristorante che pare una mensa militare Piscina torbida e sporca ...meriterebbe una visita dell' ufficio di igiene Hanno 4 stelle ma non valgono più di 2 . Questa è la loro categoria reale. Prezzo un po' più basso della categoria, ma sempre eccessivo per la qualità e i servizi offerti. In reception gente maleducata con poca attenzione verso i clienti

Hotel en buenas condiciones, bien ubicado y con acceso directo a la playa. Excelente el desayuno, muy buena calidad de los alimentos y con una visita al mar inmejorable. El personal súper atento, todos y en todo momento. No lo califique con 5 porque tiene algunos detalles de mantenimiento, por ejemplo la ventana del baño que cuando la abris se cae por falta de un tope, la pileta del baño estaba tapada (aunque reconozco que lo solucionaron rápidamente y nos regalaron champán y bombones).

Excelente la ubicacion, privilegiada sobre la arena de Punta del Este, Unico, Inigualable. Todo el Hotel es precioso, nuevo, decorado, moderno. La atencion del personal maravillosa: Todo el Staf de Recepcion ( ahora recuerdo a Paula pero todos amorosas y dedicadas a complacer al huesoed) ,. El Restaurant con una carta deliciosa, comida riquisima y la atencion esmerada . El Desayuno muy bueno . SIN LUGAR A DUDAS VOLVERIA A IR !!!!!!!!!!!!! GRACIAS URUGUAY!!
