The hotel itself is excellent, including the infrastructure and hygiene. However, as a five-star hotel, the Karen reception and racist staff are not professional and unacceptable.

酒店沒有在馬拉加市區，但風景很美，餐廳早餐晚餐都很好，房間舒適，衞生間下水有點慢，其他體驗服務都很好，推薦

Charming hotel in a castle. Nice rooms with very comfy bed and premium toiletries. Central courtyard for breakfast and on site parking. Outside of town and a good 20 minute walk to the waterfront and 40 mins into the town centre. No gym.

The room was lovely, the staff in the restaurant was lovely as well. However, the overall service is way too far from a five star hotel. Weirdly, the reception knocked our door in the morning twice without calling on the phone, we were very surprised. When we left, the staff drove their shuttle bus to cut our way which is very surprising as well.

Wij hebben aan het begin van onze rondreis drie nachten gelogeerd in dit ‘kasteel’ dat even buiten het centrum van Malaga ligt. Een taxirit naar het centrum kost tussen de 7 en 10 Euro. Dit is een vijf sterren hotel zonder toeters en bellen. Je kunt je afvragen waarom zij zonder al die faciliteiten dan vijf sterren verdienen, maar wij vonden het een heerlijk adres om na een dagje stad terug te keren. Wanneer het slecht weer is, zoals wij de t****e dag hebben ervaren, dan ben je wel op jezelf aangewezen. Hier dus geen spa, geen tennisbaan, geen zwembad. Wel een kleine lounge en een klein restaurant. Buiten prachtige terrasssen met heaters. Je hebt een fantastisch uitzicht over de haven en de omgeving. Wij waren zeer onder de indruk door de zeer vlotte en vriendelijke service van AL het personeel. Geen uitzondering daar gelaten. Extra vermelding voor Ivan, die nog iets meer uitsprong en verschrikkelijk zijn best deed om het extra feestelijk te maken. Het zijn ook de kleine attenties die het hem doen. Zoals op de dag dat we door het weer binnen moesten blijven en een medewerker een schaaltje met heerlijke friandises kwam brengen. Ook vonden wij het tuinconcert op de zaterdagmiddag erg leuk. Het à la carte ontbijt is goed verzorgd en wordt enthousiast geserveerd door de vriendelijke dames. Hier ook een keer uitstekend geluncht. Bij warm weer moet het magisch zijn om hier buiten te eten. Wij komen hier graag terug wanneer we weer in de buurt zijn.

What a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived we felt cared for Everything about it showed quality. Our room was fabulous, the setting amazing and the staff and gardens wonderful. I think the highlight was sitting under the stars eating dinner. I highly recommend this venue

L'albergo è molto bello e suggestivo su di una collina leggermente fuori città. Colazione meravigliosa con vista sul mare e sulle antiche mura della fortezza. In camera spuntino di ben venuto. Ottimo servizio anche se senza controllo della camera la sera. Piccolissima la piscina a disposizione degli ospiti nel periodo estivo..

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful, historical, romantic castle for just one night. Unfortunately, I was battling a cold, so I couldn’t fully enjoy this stay. However, the staff were so gracious to allow us to check in hours early so I could nap, and even made an off the menu soup for me to help me recover. Given this castle’s rich history and past life as a hospital, it’s no wonder they took such good care of me! I will be returning here for another holiday where I am hopefully not battling any ailments so I can fully appreciate the beauty and delicious food. My partner, who ended up eating dinner on his own, said it was one of the best meals in the most romantic setting :) (The most romantic you could get dining alone!)

The location was great; fabulous views & close to the sea. The doormen, Manuel & Mamadou were very helpful. Everywhere was super clean. The only thing that let this hotel down was the breakfasts, the dishes we ordered were very slow to arrive (or didn't come at all). The yogurt had cornflakes sprinkled on it and I asked for coffee con leche but twice was served a cappuccino. A buffet style breakfast, such as we've had in other 5 star hotels in Malaga would have vastly improved this experience.

Staying at the Castillo de Santa Catalina is a most wonderful experience. The hotel is located in the best residential area of Malaga, which in itself is good as it is very quiet and, if you do not feel like going to the city centre, you can have a very pleasant walk in the area. The hotel is very stylish, the rooms are very well-appointed, with furniture that fits in harmoniously with the architecture of the castle. Chopard toiletries are one of the many nice touches. The best about the hotel are the excellent people who work there. The staff are very cordial and welcoming, nothing is too much for them. I had many nice and touching surprises, like being offered some delicious home-made chocolate cookies as a compliment from the establishment. The staff offer a highest level of service, on a par with the overall excellent experience of staying in this truly luxurious hotel. I will definitely return some time in the future and will be very happy to see all the wonderful, friendly and cordial people who work there!
