In maart 2025 hebben wij een appartement gehuurd bij Pinar aan de c. Granada in Málaga. De locatie is echt fantastisch. Je stapt het pand uit en staat meteen in het historisch centrum van Málaga. Alles op loopafstand. Genoeg mooie bezienswaardigheden, goede restaurants en leuke winkeltjes binnen handbereik. Het appartement was schoon, goed uitgerust en met redelijk comfortabele bedden. Wel was er weinig kastruimte en een ouderwets koffiezet apparaat waardoor we elke ochtend maar bij de bakker koffie hebben gehaald... Bij aankomst moet je de sleutel ophalen bij de receptie (deze is ergens anders). Opzich geen probleem alleen jammer dat je zoveel met je bagage moet slepen. Wij hadden de pech dat we regen hadden, waardoor het waarschijnlijk erger leek dan het was! De afstanden zijn niet noemenswaardig en prima te doen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en doet erg zijn best alleen de taalbarrière is lastig omdat Engels ook niet goed wordt beheerst. Wij hadden namelijk een vreselijke stank in onze badkamer vanuit het riool. We hebben hier meerdere malen contact over gehad en er is ook wel iemand geweest maar het probleem is niet opgelost. Het lijkt dus een structureel probleem te zijn omdat het na het schoonmaken van de putjes niet over was. Erg jammer en de geur trekt door het hele appartement.

Prima locatie, redelijk ruim appartement. Kan gemoderniseerd worden was een beetje verouderd , ruikt een beetje muf. Verder redelijk schoon , goed breed bed maar erg gehorig waar wij vooral snachts last van hadden. Geschuif van stoelen, en geschreeuw boven ons. Waren er maar 4 dagen maar voor langer zouden wij volgende keer wat anders kiezen.

We had the superior suite which was absolutely beautiful. Corner plot with lovely views of the street and a gorgeous little bar below called ‘varo’ which was quaint. This apartment was super clean almost brand new. Comfy bed, spacious rooms and fully equipped kitchenette. Location was amazing. Sometimes a little street noise from bin cart of a morning but generally very quiet, nothing to stop me coming back again. Staff on reception desk opposite were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely re visit👍

Abbiamo affittato due appartamenti per il weekend. Posizione ottima, a neanche 20 min a piedi dalla stazione centrale , a mezz'oretta scarsa dal mare e vicinissimi al centro . La "reception" è proprio lì a fianco e sono sempre aperti in caso di bisogno (sono anche molto disponibili e gentili). Gli appartamenti sono moderni, ben arredati, puliti e spaziosi. Consiglio vivamente.

What a contrast from my review in November 2023. 5th time staying in these apartments, again for a very special occasion. Different block this time and it did not live up to our expectations . Again a very clean apartment, and that’s the only comparison. Street noise was awful, would last to 5 am, very disturbed sleep every night. To get a warm shower proved quite difficult, had to turn on other taps for warm water. Air conditioning was so noisy you couldn’t have it on when in apartment, and it was 32 degrees outside. I did video it, and the pleasant 3 male staff who were present on checking out, Victor asked me to send it to them, for a manager to review it. Which I did but have not received any response. As for the female staff member who attended to us at check in, might benefit from a customer relations course. She was not welcoming, not even a smile. I have been promised a lovely apartment if I do book again, but unsure now, when they can’t even respond to my complaint. A shame really as their location is great and and fantastic restaurants on the same street. If I had only paid €300 for this accommodation then fair enough, but when you pay more than €500, you expect better. Also I think they should acknowledge returning guests

Fui a un departamento de 1 dormitorio , ECXELENTE , con una cocina super completa y un living comedor divino. El baño impecable y la habitación muy amplia y la cama super cómoda. Tanto el living como la habitación con balcón. La recepción se encuentra por la misma calle pero en frente, todo el personal de recepción son muy serviciales. Sin dudas volvería, la ubicación es excelente , el departamento es un 10 Altamente recomendable.

Not family friendly: Pure Racket and Profiteering: Prices were extremely high to start with and in addition we were charged EUR 45 for 3 nights for our 7 year daughter. We were told this is due to additional cleaning, which was absurd as we did not ask for additional beds or facilities just used the standard apartment as it was. Noise from street, other tenants and neighbours. First night we could not sleep until 3-4 am due to constant high noise from above floor. Each night was either the outdoor traffic, or tourists partying into the morning slamming doors and chairs. Management knew about the party in the first night yet did not give us a different room even as we were a family with small kids. Air conditioning: extremely strong even when set on minimum. After just 4 hours on, both I and my wife got sick and it lasted 4 days into our vacation to recover. Uncomfortable pillows and sofa bed. No tourist information at reception, not even a city map (we were given.a useless black and white xerox like 30 yrs ago). The apartment is known locally as a business that exploits local cultural and amenities for the benefit of its owners and detriment of the wider community - there was a show on the local to about this place.
