The housekeeping staff demonstrated empathy towards our needs, especially when we requested a small basin for infant bathing. Although the receptionist stated that no basin was available, the housekeeping staff understood our need and provided one. Separately, despite booking for five adults, no extra bed was arranged before our arrival. The receptionist explained that bedding was set per bedroom in our one-room suite and an extra bed was not included and we need to pay if to be set up. Consequently, we had to complain and request to contact the manager. This is a minor issue that the hotel front desk should have been able to resolve. Furthermore, basic toiletries and towels were only provided for four adults. In addition, the buffet breakfast was disappointing as it was limited to set meals, unlike other hotels in the same price range. Despite being understaffed due to a colleague's absence, the restaurant staff was accommodating and attentive. Overall, the hotel service needs improvement.
